Portland Timbers vs San Diego FC - San Diego To Win - 2.45
Fiorentina vs Lecce - Both Teams to Score - 2.10
Manchester City vs Bournemouth - Over 2.5 Match Goals - 1.53
The MLS might not be everyone's cup of tea (even if said tea is made with microwaved water and 47 sugars) but it certainly provides great markets for our bet slips.
San Diego have been in fine form in their first-ever MLS conquest, finishing the regular season on top of the Western Conference and in 4th position overall. They have their first play-off jousts with Portland Timbers, who finished a disappointing 17th overall and 8th in the Conference.
San Diego finished their regular season with this exact fixture, and came away with the easiest of 4-0 victories. As the play-offs commenced, they dismissed them once again with a simple 2-1 win at their place as the Timbers went down to ten men. This game should be a formality for San Diego as they continue their impressive start to life as a full-time franchise.
Whilst Lecce aren't having the most eye-catching of season openers so far, sitting in 16th with just one win to their name from nine, they are more than competent enough in front of goal having found the net in 6 of their 11 matches overall this season, despite not being the most adept squad in terms of attacking metrics.
They will be encouraged somewhat by a trip to a Torino side that love to ship simple, avoidable goals even when it doesn't crash down on them. They won 2-1 in their last game, but still managed to concede to a bottom-of-the-table Genoa side that scored only their fourth goal of the season that day, condemning 11th-placed Torino to their 14th conceded.
Torino are understandably the betting favourites here in terms of the result, and should find scoring on Lecce a simple-enough task. However, their visitors on Sunday will be more than able to pack enough of a punch in their own right.
As a Nottingham Forest fan who regularly has to witness his side getting pasted by Bournemouth at least twice a year as clockwork, I must begrudgingly admit that I love watching them as a neutral.
The job that Iraola has done in bringing that team to the heights it has reached is more than commendable. When they make the lengthy trip to the North-West to face off with Manchester City on Premier League Super Sunday, they should put on an entertaining affair against Pep and his machines.
There has been an almighty average of 4.25 match goals involved across Bournemouth's 4 Premier League away matches so far this season, and there has been an average of 3.25 match goals across Manchester City's home matches. The Citizens have been prone to getting caught out during their games this season, as another Premier League title looks to slip away from them early, and 2nd-placed Bournemouth will be relishing the opportunity to take the game to a big gun in the top flight. Expect an open-ended affair - this is traditional in Bournemouth versus Man City games, as the Over 2.5 Match Goals line has landed in every single game the two have shared since 2015.
