Goals To Flow In Merseyside

Expect there to be a goal apiece in this mid-table grudge match in the National League North.

Both sides are having competent enough campaigns, occupying 12th and 13th whilst level on points with 13 - Marine have won four, drawn one and lost five this season, whereas their vistitors on Saturday afternoon have three wins, four draws and three losses. The Both Teams to Score line has come home in seven out of 12 games this season for Marine, and in nine from Curzon's 12. Furthermore, the BTTS line has paid out in every single Curzon Ashton away day this season as well.

With things traditionally tight in this non-league table, we can expect a scrappy affair with goals for each of these well-matched sides.

Fylde To Ease Past Challenge

Craig Mahon's side should make their way through this visit from Worksop at relative ease.

Since a defeat on the road to Scarborough in their second game of the season, AFC Fylde have maintained a strong challenge for the title whereas Worksop Town have been left meandering around in mid-table, whilst only having one away-day win to their name all season, losing the other four.

The odds are certainly not in the favour of Craig Parry's visiting team, and we expect Fylde to make their way through the game at a canter. Keep an eye on Over XYZ Goal ladders too - there will be some nice value there.

Iron To Progress

An FA Cup tie? In a non-league ACCA? Have we lost the plot?

Not really. Scunthorpe's issues over the years have been more-than-documented, but under the tutelage of Andy Butler they are staking their claim to re-entry of the Football League by the end of the season.

They sit fourth in the National League table at the moment, behind only Rochdale, Forest Green and Carlisle, and this cup clash with a team wallowing in mid-table of the division below should be simple enough for them.

They haven't got another game after this one until a week later against Boston United, and what non-league side doesn't love an FA Cup run? They'll have the green light to go full-force in this one, and should make their way through calmly.

Lancaster To Bomb Leek-y Defence

Lancaster top the lot at the moment in the Northern Premier League Premier Division this season whereas Leek Town... do not.

It hasn't been all smooth sailing for Chris Willcock and his side - they have been defeated on 4 occasions so far this season, and only hold the lead at the summit of the table over Warrington Rylands by just two points. Still, though, their away day form has been solid by winning three from five on the road.

Leek were among the stronger home sides in the division earlier this season, but lost their last two league matches on their own soil to Ilkeston Town and Hednesford, whilst only scoring one goal in their last three games.

Leek's form does not welcome a visit from the league-leaders, who will be looking to put this one to bed relatively easily to get away from Rylands.
