The previous matchups between these two have provided some thrilling results, that you can check out yourself in our full prediction piece. The home side have scored fifteen league goals this season, averaging 1.20 goals per game. Keeping the ball out of the net has been a real problem and Burnley have conceded 2.10 goals on average per game, only Wolves having worse. Crystal Palace have scored 12 goals in their last seven matches and Mateta already has seven goals to his name for the campaign. The French striker has averaged 1.5 Shots on target per game so far and we wouldn't be suprised to see him within the goalmouth action tommorow evening. We are expecting for there to be goals again in this one and over 2.5 goals looks like a safe bet.

Whilst neither side has the worst discipline record this season, things can get hasty when these two meet. Crystal Palace recieved five yellow cards alone the last time they visited Turf Moor and we think that tensions could rise again give boths recent poor form.

The Eagles have tallied at least four corners in each of their last four outings so we are keeping with the trend and rooting for them to do so again here.

As tempting as it was to include an Adam Wharton goal in this bet builder, there must be some sort of curse on the Englishman who comes closer and closer to his first Eagles' goal every week. Midfield counterpart Ugochukwu is a full-blooded, energetic midfielder and will have his work cut out to stop a fluent Palace midfield. While the young frenchman has only been cautioned on one occasion this season, (well twice in the same game but you know what im getting at) the increased desperation for Burnley to get points on the board could see tempers boil over and we are siding with him to be in the referee's book.

Having mentioned the scoring form of Mateta this season, the 28-year-old scored on his last appearance against tommorows opposition at Selhurst Park. It should be noted that Burnley have conceded the most penalties in the division (4) so far and whilst it may take two attempts, you'd be foolish to side against Mateta from the spot
