Football Park's Best Bets | Free Multi Bet Tips - Nottingham Forest vs Ferencvárosi TC Bet Builder Tips and Predictions

Thursday night sees the league phase of both the Conference League and the Europa League come to a dramatic conclusion, with each and every side playing for pride, play-offs or automatic qualification.

Despite struggling domestically, Nottingham Forest have made decent headway in the Europa League this season, and with a game to spare, have actually secured their spot in the knockout play-off round.

However, on the flip side, they have left themselves little more than a prayer of making it into the round of 16 automatically, as they currently lie three points behind eighth-place Real Betis - they require the Spanish side to lose and for a host of other results to go their way.

Their opponents on Thursday are Hungarian champions Ferencváros – managed by former Tottenham and Liverpool striker Robbie Keane – and they have managed some excellent results in Europe already, including wins over Rangers, RB Salzburg and Genk, which have been enough to put them seventh.

The Hungarians do require a win to guarantee a bypass through the knockout-playoff round, but a draw would go a long way towards achieving the same goal - they would simply need a couple of other results to go their way.

Regardless, we are going to see both sides later on this year - however, the result of this game will dictate which stage we next see them in.

With so much on the line in this game, it is only right that you also put something at stake. That is why we at Football Park have crafted two distinct bet builders, tailored to those looking for both small profits and big wins. You don’t want to miss this!

Why We Are Backing This Bet?

Low Risk

Forest to Fly Through: While it has been subtle, Nottingham have certainly undergone an improvement in form in recent weeks, losing just one of their last five. With their much-needed win over Brentford at the weekend, Sean Dyche notched just the club's second win of 2026, and they’ll come into this fixture feeling significantly more confident than they would otherwise.

Moreover, Ferencvaros have managed just one victory in their last six, a run which includes three defeats and two draws. Forest have everything going in their favour here, and we are backing them to take advantage of their out-of-form opponents.

Over 1.5 Goals: Across seven Europa League games apiece, Forest have watched 18 goals fly in at both ends, while Ferencváros have seen 19 goals across all of their fixtures. Combining the goals and dividing that figure by their accumulated games, an average of 2.64 goals have been scored across the two sides' fixtures in Europe this season.

In other words, it’s a fixture which guarantees goals - though the sides have never met before, both have an attacking orientation, and with the combined offensive talent in both sides, there shouldn’t be any issues in finding the net.

Over 9.5 Corners: In four of their last five games, Nottingham Forest have seen in excess of 10 corners both awarded and conceded – Ferencváros have surpassed the same mark in four of their last six games.

Clearly, both are teams who like set-pieces, and both have clear aerial threats when the centre-backs advance up the pitch. Expect corners to play a big part in the final score here.

High Risk

Draw: Though Ferencváros come into the game in far inferior form, there is no doubt that they have the capacity to shock some big names, with their win against Rangers epitomising the fact that they have the ability to shock.

They won’t win here - Forest’s home advantage and better form will carry them to at least a point and maybe more, but with automatic qualification on the line, Keane’s side will certainly give it a good go and perhaps force a draw late in the game.

Yates for Yellow: Ryan Yates has certainly had an entertaining time in Europe recently - last time out, he scored an unfortunate own goal to hand Portuguese side Braga a 1-0 win, while in the two fixtures before that, he was shown a yellow card in both.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, Yates has a physical side to him, and as the longest-serving player in the club's ranks, is never far away from the action, wearing his heart and the badge on his sleeve. Expect him to cause chaos in this vital game.

Both Teams to Score: As discussed earlier, this game demands goals at both ends, and since we have predicted a draw in this fixture, we now have to predict both sides to find the back of the net.

Forest boast plenty of attacking threat through the likes of Igor Jesus, Callum Huson-Odoi and new signing Lorenzo Lucca, while Ferencvaros boast the dangerous pairing of Barnabas Varga and Zsombor Gruber. With both defences a little fragile, expect the attackers to have a fun 90 minutes at the City Ground.

Igor Jesus to Score: Speaking of Igor Jesus, the Brazilian will be riding a wave of confidence into this game after his superb chest, turn and volley finish against Brentford. It was a superb finish, and not at all that of one who should be so low on confidence.

The Brazilian is clearly resilient even in patches of dry form - it was his first Premier League goal since early December, and yet he took it like he had scored every week for the past month. If he brings that same attitude on Thursday, he will cause Ferencváros all sorts of problems.
