Both to Strike in Premier League Action

Well, nice one Coventry. Not very festive of you, is it? We really need a winner, so let's crack on. We'll go back to the BTTS well as Chelsea play hosts to Bournemouth in the Premier League tonight.

Truth be told, neither of these two sides are enjoying the form of their lives with both sides losing their previous matches to set up a potentially nervous affair. Chelsea dominated for the most part across the first half with Aston Villa, but then completely fell to bits as they were drawn to a 2-1 defeat after leading early. They looked properly open every time Unai Emery's side came forward, with Villa hoisting five big chances, two goals and eight shots on target from just 11 attempts.

That game marked the fourth time in five matches that the BTTS market has paid out in Chelsea games. The only caveat here was their 2-0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge. However, this was a David Moyes side with only seven away goals to their name from nine trips on the road, so the Toffees not giving Chelsea much trouble wasn't exactly the shock of the day.

Where Bournemouth are concerned, they have seen both teams hit the net in each of their last three Premier League games and held four goals in a 4-1 loss to Brentford on the road. The Cherries are not enjoying their greatest run - they'd only lost one league game all season after their 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest, but that game (which was in October) marked their most recent win. That was nine games ago, and Bournemouth are down in 15th and struggling with fatigue impacting the way they play.

Bournemouth have been crap on the road, winning just one of their nine away days in the Premier League season so far with these games producing a massive 43 goals at 4.77 goals per game. At 27, they have conceded more away-day goals than any other Premier League side, and have conceded four-or-more goals in their last two away games too.

Whether through a rip-roaring affair or a lack in defensive quality, both sides should be finding the net here.

At 1.60, a £10 stake will return a resourceful £16 with talkSPORT BET
