Thomas Frank has finally been sacked after a rather treacherous reign as Tottenham head coach. 16th in the Premier League, two wins in the league since October, and the worst win percentage of any Tottenham manager at 27%. Fans are crying out for the owners to follow suit, and it looks as if the players have just about had enough of the mayhem surrounding the club at the moment.
Let's be real, anyone would be brave to walk into the Spurs management role, but we have outlined five possible replacements for the 52-year-old, coupled with odds and prices from our menu of bookies here at Football Park. Strap in.

Like clockwork, the former Marseille manager was relieved of his duties with the French side with the official announcement coming earlier this morning. De Zerbi led Marseille to 39 wins in 69 matches in charge, taking them to the final of the French Super Cup, suffering defeat on penalties to PSG. Safe to say that his reign was full of drama; player exclusions, bust-ups, and claims that his players have 'small balls.' Quite the likable bloke.

That said, his authority could be the reality check that this Tottenham side needs. Lackluster in their ways, little to no fight aside from the inevitable Cristian Romero head loss. De Zerbi has already proven his worth in the Premier League, having led Brighton to their highest-ever finish (6th) in the top flight. This appointment doesn't come without its risks - already known for being strong-minded, a characteristic that has seen both spells at Brighton and Marseille come to an end, we can't see him being best pleased with the ways of the much-hated Tottenham ownership.
The divisive Italian appears to be the leading favourite to take up the Tottenham post at the moment after his Marseille dismissal, and you can back the former Brighton gaffer to be Frank's replacement at odds of 1.91 over with Betfred right here.
Return of the Poch. Many Tottenham fans certainly think so, and it seems like a smart appointment to bring in someone who understands the club at such a difficult time. Poch was previously appointed as Tottenham manager in May 2014, a spell that lasted until November 2019 after his side's poor domestic performance. In that time, the Argentine led Spurs to a Champions League final and had Tottenham as genuine title contenders in the 2015/2016 season, falling short on both occasions.

That said, when asked about which trophy he wishes to have the most in a recent interview, Pochettino replied, saying "the Premier League," and promised that he would achieve this goal one day, no matter which club it was with. The 53-year-old is the current manager of the USMNT, having been appointed with the intention to lead the country into the upcoming World Cup. He has previously stated that he'd love to experience international management, and with the United States being co-hosts of the competition, it's hard to see him letting this opportunity slip past. That said, Pochettino has always sung his praises about Tottenham and has hinted at the idea of returning in the past. If this were to be the replacement, then we expect Poch to join in the summer, and Tottenham would be on the lookout for an interim manager in the meantime.
We think this is a more likely conversation to be having in the summer, but do you fancy the legendary Argentine to re-take the mantle in North London sooner rather than later? Well, either way, you can back Poch to become the next permanent Spurs manager at odds of 7.00 with William Hill by clicking here - a £10 stake will return £70 if Pochettino returns, whether it's now or following an interim!
On the topic of identity, there's no one like a former player and club legend to understand a club. Keane has spent the early years of his management career abroad, currently in charge of Hungarian side Ferencváros. They currently sit in first place in the top flight and have earned themselves a playoff fixture against Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League, having finished 12th in the league table. There is a lot of noise around Keane and the Tottenham job, specifically from former teammate Michael Dawson, who has been singing his praises in the media. That said, the Irishman has no former Premier League experience in a management role and has not yet established himself in the top leagues of European football.

While people are calling for him to take charge until the end of the season, it seems like a bizarre decision to leave a role where he is doing a good job to try and steer a sinking ship. In my opinion, Keane should steer clear of the Tottenham job and maintain his honourable reputation among the Tottenham ranks, given the likelihood this appointment could go very wrong.
The wheel of potential reunions continues to spin around and around, and QuinnBet are offering teasing odds of 11.00 for Robbie Keane to return to Spurs, only this time in the dugout. Click here to back the Irishman to make a grand-slam return, and recoup up to £25 back from your first day of playing with them whilst you're at it!
It's only right that Glasner gets linked with every possible management vacancy ever. The Crystal Palace boss has confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, having led The Eagles to their first FA Cup in the club's history. He followed this up with the Community Shield after victory over Liverpool, though things have rapidly gone downhill ever since for the South London side. Relations between Glasner and Palace chairman Steve Parish have soured, with the Austrian feeling as if he was let down by the club after a lack of financial backing in the summer and January windows.
If he thinks it will be any different at Tottenham, then someone needs to let this man know what he's in for. Tottenham fans have been left raging at club owner Daniel Levy after every transfer window, failing to provide the transfer business that they had hoped for. In response, Levy chucked £40 million the way of Atletico Madrid for Conor Gallagher in January - how's that for two fingers to the fans? Either way, it seems very unlikely that Glasner will take the Tottenham job, another that would yet again have to be finalized in the summer. At that point, many would turn their noses up at the thought of managing in the Championship.
Frankly, if Glasner didn't fancy sticking around under the board at Crystal Palace, then he probably wouldn't enjoy a spell at Tottenham much more either. From a football perspective to his appointment? He would be class, no doubt. His odds with Betfred are lengthy, returning £170 from a £10 stake. You can get up to £50 in free bets in return for your first tenner with Betfred, mind you, so backing Glasner to make his way there with that money could be a serious payday.
Don't let dreams be dreams, eh? The former Barcelona manager remains out of a job, and the appeal of the Premier League could lure him to North London. Xavi is known for his tiki-taka football; we can already see the calamities occurring if this Tottenham side tries to play anything like Barcelona. The 46-year-old took Barcelona from 9th to 2nd position after joining the club in November 2021. He also got the best out of signings signings that many laughed at, including the likes of Adama Traore and a 38-year-old Dani Alves.
A further positive that could be taken is that Xavi would unlock the qualities of Xavi Simons, a partnership that’s meant to be. In his previous roles, the creative players have dictated proceedings, mirroring the former midfielder in his playing days. That said, we highly doubt that this appointment will be made, frankly because Xavi would rather not put himself through the pain that comes with the Tottenham manager role.
According to Betfred, there is just as much a chance of Xavi taking the reigns as there is for Glasner with a total return of £170 from a £10 stake.
