A key battle at both ends of the Bundesliga table on Sunday as VfB Stuttgart travel to Hamburg to take on newly promoted Hamburger SV.
Since earning promotion back to the Bundesliga, Hamburger SV, one of German football's most iconic and oldest clubs, have had a mixed campaign so far.
After the first 11 games of the season the club find themselves just outside the relegation places on nine points, however have lost four out of their last five after a solid start which included two wins.
Meanwhile, opponents VfB Stuttgart are currently enjoying something of a golden era. After finishing second in 2023/24 and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, although they slipped to 8th place in 24/25 the club won the DFB Pokal. Their first major honour in nearly 20 years.
So far this season, Stuttgart find themselves in fifth and firmly in the fight for a Champions League place.
