Livingston host Partick Thistle in the second leg of the Scottish Premiership Promotion/Relegation Play-off semi-final on Friday evening.
After a resounding 2-0 victory in Glasgow, Livingston will be looking to book their place in the Play-off final against 11th in the Premiership’s relegation final. After an outstanding season in the Championship, ending just three points off Falkirk and the title, Livingston will believe they deserve to bounce straight back into the Scottish topflight.
Partick Thistle ended their campaign 15 points worse off than Friday’s opponents, but their 1-0 away win on the last day of the season at Livingston is the only reason they are in this promotion battle. If they bring that same do-or-die mentality on Friday, they could have what it takes to pull off an upset.
As the game approaches, here is everything you need to know about both sides ahead of kick-off.
Livingston host Partick on Friday evening at the Tony Macaroni Arena as both sides aim to take care of this tie, to achieve a two-legged affair with the 11th placed side from the Scottish Premiership.

You will be able to watch this match on Friday evening on BBC Scotland.
Livingston Predicted Lineup (4-3-3): Prior; Fraser, Wilson, McGowan, Brandon; Pittman, Tait, Kelly; Montano, Muirhead, Smith.
Coach David Martindale is expected to have a full selection of players for the second leg.
Bar their final day defeat to Partick, Livingston had a flawless run-in. They won the four games prior to the defeat, against Queen’s Park, Greenock Morton, Ayr and Hamilton. In their last five league games, they scored a total of 13, conceding just twice.
Muirhead had a good run-in, scoring four times and he has double the goals of the next best scorer for them, so any impact he may have on this tie will be crucial.
Partick Predicted Lineup (3-4-1-2): Mitchell; O’Reilly, Ashcroft, McBeth; Low, Bannigan, Crawford, Megwa; Chalmers; Fitzpatrick, Graham.
Partick struggled with injuries for the first leg, and it is likely to continue for the second leg. Sean Kelly, Scott Martin and Kyle Turner are all likely to miss out.
Friday’s hosts showed a lot of character in the run-in, defeating both first and second to make the play-offs, proving they have what it takes to overcome some of the better sides in the division. They also lost the first leg at home versus Ayr in the semi final 1-0, before overturning the tie away, winning 2-0.
Partick will believe they can do this again but is this a step too far. If they are going to give it a go, Brian Graham is the man expected to make things happen. The 37-year-old veteran has scored four goals in the run-in and play-off semi final so his influence will be vital for them.
The last five matches have been quite even with Livingston edging out the wins column 2-1. Despite winning on Tuesday evening away, let us not forget Partick winning away on the final day of the regular season.
Recent Meetings:
It is all about seeing the tie off now for Livingston. They will be at home with the crowd behind them, so it should be enough to see them through. Partick do have nothing to lose, which could keep it quite close, but this might be a step too far for them this season.
Therefore, we have gone for Livingston to Win as the best tip for this match.
