Sunday’s Serie A action sees a clash in the race for European football between high-flying Atalanta and AC Milan.
The hosts, AC Milan have underwhelmed, sitting in 9th spot, outside of the European spots and separated from the title race between Inter and Napoli. On the other hand, Atalanta have been one of the surprise packages in Italian football, occupying 3rd spot in the Serie A table. With five points separating themselves and 7th placed Roma, Atalanta look likely to secure European football in what has been a special season.

The last time out for Milan was an emphatic 4-0 victory against Udinese as they continue to chase down 6th spot.
Their opponents, Atalanta, despite their league position, have not been in the best form, losing three straight games. However, Atalanta made their way back into the win column last time out as they defeated Bologna 2-0 in a dominant home performance.
Mateo Retegui will be one to watch in this fixture, the Italian striker having scored 23 goals and providing five assists in 30 Serie A appearances this season. The 25-year-old comes into this clash with Milan on strong form, having scored and assisted against Bologna.
