Barrow have surprised everyone this season. They currently occupy third place in League Two with three wins from their opening four games. For this fixture, they face a Swindon Town side that are yet to win a match this season. For this game we’re backing Barrow to pick up another victory.
One thing we’ve seen Barrow do this season is hold on and fight for the thought wins. At the same, at home to Port Vale they showed signs of outrageous quality, with a 4-1 win over the side that’s just been relegated from League One.
Barrow’s defence has also been very strong. They’ve conceded just one goal so far this season in the league, which was the difference maker in their loss to Carlisle United. Only three other sides have conceded that little in the entire division (Gillingham and Tranmere Rovers).
Barrow are also the best performing side in the 4th tier so far. They’re top of the home form table with two wins from two games. But what sets them apart from other teams, is that fact that they’ve not conceded a goal at their Holker Street Stadium. Swindon Town, the side that has only scored twice so far and once whilst away, will find it very difficult to threaten a top Barrow side.
We’re backing Barrow to win this game. Through our bookmakers, you can get odds of 5/6, and a £10 is set to return £18.33.
