Brighton & Hove Albion started the season really well. They battered Everton on the opening day away from home 3-0, backed that up with a 2-1 win against Manchester United and two consecutive draws versus Arsenal and Ipswich Town.
Many people expected Brighton to also defeat Ipswich, but they’re a side with a lot of new additions and a new manager, results like these are bound to crop up over the course of the campaign. They’ve shown some great flare in their opening fixtures, with a vast array of talent in and around the squad, and that’s why we think they’ll be able to defeat this current Wolves side.
Brighton so far this season in all competitions:
Wolves have looked extremely unthreatening to start the campaign. They’ve had tough fixtures against Arsenal and Chelsea but did go on to lose both of those. They then only managed a draw against Nottingham Forest. The away side for this game were leading Newcastle last time out at half-time, but also went on to lose the game.
