Chelsea welcome Fulham to Stamford Bridge, looking to close the gap between themselves and leaders Liverpool in the Premier League.
Chelsea have been turning heads and playing above expectations this season. Enzo Marseca’s side currently sit 2nd in the Premier League table, just four points behind Liverpool in top spot. Having won five consecutive games until a 0-0 draw against Everton, the Blues will be looking to get back to winning ways against a Fulham team that has struggled to pick up wins in recent times.
Fulham have also been in fine form this season, sitting 9th in the Premier League standings but a win against their West London rivals could see Marco Silva’s team climb to 5th.
Chelsea Predicted Line-up: Sanchez, Gusto, Tosin, Colwill, Cucurella, Caicedo, Fernandez, Madueke, Palmer, Sancho, Jackson
Enzo Maresca will have a welcomed headache when trying to select a starting eleven. With attacking options that include the likes of Palmer, Sancho, Neto, Madueke, Nkunku, Jackson, Felix and Guiu, the Blues are almost guaranteed to cause a threat at any given opportunity.
An attacking option that won’t be considered for selection is Mykhailo Mudryk, who has been given an indefinite suspension following an investigation over a failed drug test.
Chelsea will definitely be without Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile, who all continue to nurse injuries.
Marc Cucurella is expected to return to the starting eleven, having served his suspension against Everton.
Fulham Predicted Line-up: Leno, Castagne, Diop, Bassey, Robinson, Berge, Lukic, Iwobi, Smith-Rowe, Adama, Jimenez
Having failed to win against Southampton in the previous fixture, Fulham will feel that they missed out on an opportunity to get back to winning ways.
With a tough challenge ahead in Chelsea, Marco Silva will be looking to upset the odds. Fulham have scored in 15 of their last 16 Premier League matches - with Alex Iwobi and Raul Jimenez sharing the top spot in the clubs top scorers list with five goals each.
Chelsea have won three of the last five meetings with Fulham, drawing once and losing once in the process.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have all failed to beat Fulham this season - showing they are capable of matching up against anyone in the league. However, Chelsea are in great form and show no signs of slowing down, despite the draw with Everton.
With that in mind, our professional team of experts have decided that the best tip for this game is Chelsea to win. Odds of 46/100 on CopyBet means that a £10 bet, could potentially return £14.60.
