Derby County have not looked too strong in their returning season in the Championship. They did very well but also got lucky to get a home win against Middlesbrough two weeks ago, but that luck ran out when they faced Watford recently, and lost 2-1. Their play-style screams that they’ve run out of ideas, and whilst they are sometimes strong defensively, they don’t have much hope going forward. Therefore, we’re backing Bristol City to get the win in this game.
Bristol City so far this season:
Bristol, whilst they aren’t nailed on for the title, do look like one of the better sides in the Championship this season. Their xG of 4.6 is impressive for three games in, and have taken the second most shots in the league so far as well.
We’re backing Bristol City to take the three points away from this match, with odds of 6/4 through our bookmakers. A £10 stake on this bet would return £25.
