The bottom two in the Scottish Premiership meet this weekend in what promises to be a tight clash. Kilmarnock host Hibernian and will be looking to get their first points of the season, while Hibernian will be wanting to push on from their draw last week which saw them get off the mark.
Kilmarnock are yet to score in the league, in fact they’ve had just two shots on target in each of their three games and averaged 33% possession across those matches. They have also recorded three red cards in all competitions, two of them in the league. It has been a horrible start to the season for the club. They have also had to contend with European football, which came to an end this week, losing over the two legs of their playoff against FC Copenhagen.
Hibernian haven’t had the best start to the season either, but got off the mark last week against Dundee FC with a 2-2 draw. I expect that they’ll take that form with them into this game and get their first win of the season. Hibernian have a good squad and would have wanted to start the season off better, but after losses against St. Mirren and Celtic in the first two weeks, I think that they have started to find their groove in the league.
Our team of experts have decided that the best tip for this game is for Hibernian to win. With 13/8 odds on Ladbrokes, a £10 bet could see potential returns of £26.25.
The match kicks off at 3pm BST on Sunday 1st September. The match is not available to watch in the UK.
