Forest Green Rovers had a very rough last campaign. When they got promoted from the 5th tier in 2017, they weren’t planning on being there for the 2024/25 campaign. But such is the beauty of lower-league football. For this game at home to Altrincham though, we think they’ll be securing all three points.
They’ve shown their quality so far this season, especially in their 4-0 thrashing of Boston United for their second game. 7 goals scored in three games isn’t bad either.
Remarkably as well, this will be Forest’s first home game in the league this season, five games in. After some lengthy trips, we think they’ll take full advantage of having their home fans watching on.
Christian Doidge has already scored three times to Forest Green so far. The 31-year-old has been somewhat of a mediocre striker for the last couple of seasons, but as a Forest legend and the start he’s hm we’d keep an eye on him for this game.
We're backing Forest Green Rovers to win this match. Through our bookmakers, you can get odds of 10/11 and get a return of £19.40 from a £10 stake.
