Cesc Fabregas’ Como take on Thiago Motta’s Juventus to open the Serie A season. Whilst I’d love to say I’m hugely excited about seeing two promising young managers face each other, I don’t have high hopes for this clash.
Both sides have had resoundingly poor pre-seasons. Como haven’t won in their last three, with losses to Al-Hilal and Sampdoria included. To add to that, they’ve only scored one goal across their last three matches.
Juventus’ haven’t been reaching the standards they set so high in the 2010’s in recent years, and this pre-season is yet another example of that. Bar a 4-0 win over their own youth team, Juve haven’t won in pre-season at all. A 3-0 loss to Nurnberg is a prime example of just how disappointing they’ve been.
All things considered, we could be looking at a boring draw here.
We’re backing this match to finish as a draw. Through Highbet, you can find odds of 41/10, so a £10 stake could return a huge £51.
