Marc Guehi To Join Manchester United

Marc Guehi Next Club Predictions

Euro 2024 finished this past Sunday with Spain claiming the title with a 2-1 win against England. But it is an English unsung hero that we are looking closely into today… Marc Guehi.

Guehi came into the England squad with a lot of question marks on his head. Especially after Harry Maguire wasn’t picked due to injury and Guehi was thrown straight into the starting eleven. However, he proved a lot of people wrong, cementing himself as a key part of this England side.

After such a great tournament, understandably there is a lot of noise about his future and a potential move away from his current club Crystal Palace this summer. Ladbrokes and Coral both offer odds on a potential move.

Marc Guehi Next Club Odds

Some of the clubs interested in Guehi include the likes of Arsenal with odds of 10/1, Chelsea with odds of 12/1, Newcastle with odds of 16/1 and even Real Madrid at odds of 14/1.

However the real value comes in what will be an interesting battle between rivals Liverpool and Manchester United for the Englishmen’s signature.

United are appearing as though they are on the hunt for a centre back this summer. Day by day it looks more and more likely that Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt will be a potential incoming with a lot of noise around youngster Leny Yoro as well.

Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite is also seen as an option but if the Red Devils splash a lot on the signings of de Ligt and Yoro we can’t imagine they will be willing to match Everton’s asking price and will instead look for cheaper options. Everton, having already lost Amadou Onana this summer may also not want to let go of another huge star.

However outgoings of Raphael Varane and more recently youngster Willy Kambwala for example could see United go in for other options - signing multiple central defenders. Marc Guehi is surely the cheapest available option. United’s interest has drawn odds of 5/1.

Liverpool on the other hand are reportedly admirers of Guehi and have been for some time. And they are also very confident in the potential of securing his services.

However, despite this, in more recent days reporter David Lynch, who Football Park rate as a tier 3 for reliability, has said that he is “not massively convinced there are legs in this transfer rumour.” Potentially adding doubt as to whether it will actually happen.

Liverpool are indeed the favourites to sign Guehi however boasting odds of 7/2.

Marc Guehi Next Club Tips

Although Liverpool are the favourites we can’t help but feel that the rumours doubting their links to Guehi are significant. United are looking into signing multiple central defenders this summer. As well as this they are clearly willing to spend a lot under new ownership so could move in for the Palace man.

Marc Guehi to sign for Manchester United by the end of the summer transfer window is listed at 5/1 with £10 returning a potential £60.
