To the Championship now, where on Sunday Millwall will host second placed Burnley in what promises to be an entertaining game at the Den.
Millwall, who currently sit tenth, have won three of their last six, and are undefeated in their last four, and this promising form has seen them go into this match with more than a puncher's chance.
Burnley, who have transitioned smoothly to Scott Parker's vision since the departure of Vincent Kompany, are also on an excellent run of form, currently undefeated since the last day of August. However, they have drawn four of their last six games, so this is as good a time as any for Millwall to face them.
As the game approaches, here is everything you need to know about both sides ahead of kick-off.
Millwall Predicted Lineup (4-2-3-1): Lukas Bornhoft Jensen (GK); Dan McNamara, Jake Cooper, Japhet Tanganga, Ryan Leonard; George Saville, Caspar De Norre; Duncan Watmore, Mihailo Ivanovic, Romaine Esse; Macaulay Langstaff.
Heading into this game after pinching a dramatic late winner away to Swansea courtesy of Caspar De Norre, Millwall will have their tails up for this one.
Their squad is full of talent, ranging from former Premier League players Duncan Watmore and Japhet Tanganga, to in-form 19-year-old right winger Romain Esse, who has three goals and two assists so far this season.
Winning their last two games has given them a much needed confidence boost, and in keeping a clean sheet in both of them, Millwall will have belief that they do the same to Burnley.
Burnley Predicted Lineup (4-2-3-1): James Trafford (GK); Bashir Humphreys, Maxime Esteve, Conrad Egan-Riley, Connor Roberts; Josh Brownhill, Josh Cullen; Jaidon Anthony, Hannibal Mejbri, Luca Koleosho; Jay Rodriguez.
As discussed earlier, Burnley, though undefeated since August, have had a stuttering run of form recently. Drawing four of their last six games, their injury crisis has started to make itself known.
Burnley’s list of players in the physio room is nine players long, and it contains key names across the pitch. Attackers Lyle Foster, Nathan Redmond and Mike Tresor are both out with long term injuries, and aren’t expected back until late November, while center backs Hannes Delcroix and Joe Worrall are similarly out for a while.
Other names, such as Jordan Beyer, Manuel Benson and Hjalmar Ekdal are also missing, which when putting Burnley’s form into context, makes it rather impressive.
However, it is bound to catch up to them sooner or later, and no team can remain undefeated while missing almost an entire starting eleven of players. Expect Millwall to push them close here.

It is likely to be another low scoring affair, something that Burnley have made a habit of recently, but once again it looks likely to go the Claret’s way. Afterall, good teams find a way to win even when playing far from their best.
We are backing a Burnley win here, which may seem harsh on an in-form Millwall, but the Clarets’ have become unerringly good at shutting out their opposition.
Millwall 0-1 Burnley
Burnley will be far from their best, and will give up significant possession of the ball, but their ability in attack, particularly on the counter.
Using their vast reserves of pacey forwards, their clinical edge will grab them the one goal they will need to take three points away from the Den.
