The Paris Olympics are set to begin on the 26th July but the one event many people will have their eyes on, as always, will be the Football.
Football at the Olympics plays an odd role as despite being the world's game, the best players aren't always present at the Olympics. Due to the schedule of the Football calendar, nations only send an under-23 team to represent their country with three players allowed to be over the age limit in each squad.
Already people have their eyes on a few teams which could win Gold this summer:
Argentina are two-time winners at the Olympics and have a quality squad travelling to the French capital.
The main star in their squad is Julian Alvarez who is joining with the under-23 squad straight after winning the Copa America in the USA.
Alvarez scored 19 goals and got 13 assists in 54 games for Manchester City last season meaning he averaged 0.59 g/a per match last season.
Whether or not the forward's never ending schedule will have an impact on him is yet to be seen, but such a talent will always increase a team's chances of success.
Like Argentina, Spain have already been successful with Football this summer as English hearts were broken at the Euros in Germany.
Their squad is fairly unknown down to the fact that the three over 23 slots in the squad haven't been fully utilised. They have only brought two over 23 players and they're both 24 so they haven't gone for the experienced options that other nations have gone for, mainly due to the Euros.
It's hard to find a standout player but the one I would keeo an eye on is Samu Omorodion. He was briefly linked with a big money move to Chelsea earlier in the window and is currently valued at €35 million on transfermarkt.
While he doesn't have the pefect numbers to back up his talent, he clearly has a lot of potential as Atletico have kept him so far this summer and the Olympics is the perfect place to show the world his ability.
The French have the home advantage for the Olympics and it appears they've given themselves the best chance of victory this summer.
They are being led out by former French top goal scorer, Euros winner and World Cup winner Thierry Henry who has picked his squad to perfection.
With the restrictions around the age of the squad Henry's main pick outside of the age range is another former Arsenal striker in Alexandre Lacazette. The Lyon forward scored an impressive 22 goals and got 5 assists in a struggling Lyon side which went from the brink of relegation to Europa League qualification thanks to Lacazette.
The main star of this side however, is none other than Bayern Munich's new signing Michael Olise. Olise was on everybody's lips before Bayern got their man, and there's every reason to be excited about Olise's talent.
The former Palace winger managed 10 goals and 6 assists in just 19 Premier League matches after having missed half of the season due to injury.
We are going with France to win gold on home soil with odds of 9/4 on offer from CopyBet giving potential returns of £32.50 from a £10 bet.
