Crystal Palace are quite obviously the better side coming into this game. For starters, they’re a Premier League outfit and have been since 2013. Queen’s Park Rangers however, haven’t been in the topflight since 2015, and have only ever stayed there for four seasons at most.
Whilst Palace haven’t started the season in the most perfect style, they have more than enough quality to breeze past QPR. However, they have conceded in every single one of the league games so far. They did batter Norwich City 4-0 in the last round of the EFL Cup, but their defence has looked leakey so far.
QPR on the other hand, have been able to shock a few teams in the Championship already. They pulled off a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United despite being two down at half-time and on the road. They backed that up with a 2-1 win away to Luton Town soon after. They drew 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday last time out.
Michael Frey has been on fire so far this season. He’s scored three and assisted one, whilst putting on a man of the match worthy performance in his sides’ win against Luton Town. If anyone will pop up with a goal against Palace, it could be him.
