10 Best Kits for the 2026 World Cup

With the World Cup fast approaching, the anticipation for the biggest sporting competition is growing by the day. There are many things in the build up that gets fans excited such as the draw, squad announcements, and kit reveals.

Over the years, there have been some iconic kits at the World Cup such as Nigeria’s in 2018 and Mexico in 1998.

England announced their new jersey back in March and they have decided to go back to a red away shirt for the first time for a number of years. The three lions will be hoping that their kit becomes iconic due to it being worn when they hopefully win their first major trophy on the international stage since 1966.

Let’s take a look at some of the greatest kits that have been released for the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

10. England Away

For the first time in a while, the three lions have gone for a red away shirt for their trip to North America this summer. They will be hoping that they can repeat the glory that they witnessed in 1966 whilst wearing red in the World Cup Final at Wembley.

9. Germany Home

As this is the last time Adidas will be designing Germany’s kit for a while, they certainly have gone out with a bang. This year they have brought back the famous yellow, black, and red diamonds on the front of the shirt which has a nostalgic feel to it from back in the 1990’s.

8. Curacao Away

This is the first time that Curacao have appeared at a World Cup and they have certainly made a statement with their away kit. It is a yellow kit which is inspired by the capital city of Willemstad and the colourful buildings in the area.

7. Brazil Home

Brazil are without a doubt the most iconic country when it comes to World Cups, winning five in their history. This year's kit has a slight resemblance of their 1970 World Cup winning kit worn by the likes of Pele and Jairzinho. There is just something beautiful about the yellow shirt paired with the blue shorts and white socks.

6. Argentina Away

The current holders have certainly not disappointed when it comes to their kit reveal for this year's tournament. The black design with the light blue pattern compliment each other very well and the design is inspired by an art style in Buenos Aires.

5. Mexico Home

Mexico are one of the co-hosts of this year’s tournament and they have based their kit on one of their greatest ever kits from the 1998 World Cup in France. They will be hoping that this kit helps them to go quite deep into the tournament in front of their home fans.

4. South Africa Away

This is certainly a shirt that could be worn for many years to come as it has a stylish look about it. The mix of forest green and gold with the collar make the shirt look premium and it features the Protea flower emblem.

3. Sweden Away

Sweden’s away shirt features a mainly blue colour with gold accents on the sleeves and other areas. The floral pattern within the main shirt is inspired by ABBA and 1970s fashion in the country. The likes of Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres will be hoping to score plenty of goals in North America wearing this kit.

2. Spain Away

La Roja will be hoping to make it back to back major tournament successes following their 2024 UEFA Euro’s victory in Germany. It is a cream colour with maroon and gold accents and also includes a coiled vine pattern woven into the fabric which is inspired by ancient Spanish literary manuscripts. Classic!

1. Japan Away

Adidas have stolen the show with this Japan shirt ready for their trip across the planet to America. The white kit features 12 rainbow coloured pinstripes that represent the 11 players on the pitch and the central red stripe recognises the wider Japanese football family and their nickname ‘The Land of the Rising Sun.’ Another Japanese hit.
