5 Players Man City Need To Sign This Summer
Manchester City have a stacked squad. Arguably they could win the league without signing anyone.
But with outgoings such as Ederson, Bernardo Silva and potentially even Julian Alvarez expected, incomings are necessary.
So today we are looking at five players Manchester City need to sign this summer.
With Ederson’s exit rumoured to be near, Ortega is expected to be Manchester City’s new number 1 but whether the German goalkeeper is good enough to be the first choice goalkeeper is the real question.
Diogo Costa is still awaiting his first major move to one of the top 5 leagues and now with City potentially in the hunt for a new goalkeeper, this is the perfect opportunity for both parties.
Having a great start to the Euros campaign with Portugal, Diogo Costa is sure to be in high demand. Whilst his long range passing is maybe not to match for Guardiola’s needs, a young keeper like Costa will definitely be able to attain such an attribute.

There is no other player in the world like Rodri and that is known by Manchester City, nor do the club have a suitable replacement for Rodri either.
Kimmich would be the perfect candidate as a player to allow Rodri to rest as well as being able to play alongside the Spanish international.
Kimmich has previously worked with Guardiola and has stated that he would love to do so once again in his career.
Plus you really cannot let the chance of signing such a player for 30-40 million in today’s market.

With Mbappe finally making his anticipated arrival at the Bernabeau, one of the current attackers at Real Madrid are bound to lose their starting position and the most likely is going to be Rodrygo.
A player of Rodrygo’s calibre is destined to play at the top level and not sitting on the bench.
With Grealish’s form severely slacking and Bernardo Silva being played out on the right wing, City have been lacking a real cutting edge right winger since Riyad Mahrez went to Saudi Arabia.

On the radar or Manchester City for the last 2 seasons, and Matheus Nunes having a very lacklustre debut season, Bruno may be the answer to providing more high quality depth.
With a player of that level, comes a high price tag and Newcastle will be wanting close to 100million which City simply refuse to pay.
A player like Bruno would allow Rodri to advance forward and still keep the stability and strong defence in place as Bruno is great at winning his duels and recoveries.

Not much needs to be said about the best wonder kid in the world.
An aging De Bruyne is bound to leave or severely reduce in form therefore an immediate replacement will be needed either this season or next.
Musiala alongside Foden and just behind Haaland with Doku and the potential of Rodrygo on the wings…Real Madrid don’t sound so scary after all.
