ARSENAL HAND CITY THE KEYS TO THE TITLE
Arsenal lost 2-0 on Sunday evening to an impressive Aston Villa side, putting Man City top of the table and massively denting Arsenal’s title hopes.
As an Arsenal fan all I can say is I’m tired.

Just tired of the constant hope being taken away by personal mistakes and lacklustre performances.
Just once I’d love to see Arsenal fight to the death instead of seemingly giving up early.
In the days of Man City’s dominance you can’t even think of drawing games let alone losing.
To lose in the manner that the Gunners did is shameful. There was only ever one winner and it was Villa.
We’ve had the best defence in the league this season and in one game we look like it’s 2019 all over again and I’m getting flashbacks of Mustafi letting Zaha run past him.
After last season I had genuine hope it would be different and we would be there on the final day still fighting.
Now I’m waiting for Bayern Munich to kill our season on Wednesday and start my summer early.
Going into next season, things still need changing at Arsenal. The squad depth isn’t as good as it’s made out to be.
Fabio Vieira, Emile Smith-Rowe, Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson are all supposed options for Arsenal but they provide no real competition for the first team.
Man City could play Rico Lewis and it not be a problem but if Nelson started over Martinelli or Nketiah started over Havertz, you’d see a big difference and not a good one.
Arsenal still lack a finisher. There were times when Havertz got through but couldn’t quite get away from opponents and his build doesn’t help him at all. With the rumours online everywhere I couldn’t help but wonder if Viktor Gyokeres would have got Arsenal the lead in that first half.
A few years ago I would be angry and shouting after a loss this late in the season to ruin our hopes.
After experiencing it over and over again in the race for top 4, semi finals, finals and title races I’m just bored. Why can’t Arsenal write a new chapter in their story, cos this one is just dull.
Just once I’d love to see my team at least go down fighting but that is never the case. Arsenal would rather go down with a whimper.
Congratulations Manchester City. I can’t wait for another year of this.
