David Bentley Had Two Mexico Fans on Strings Last Night and It’s Fucking Excellent Content

Former English footballer David Bentley, who played for the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur as well as making seven international appearances for the three lions, was at the game last night and he had quite the experience!

The three lions overcame very tough conditions in Mexico City facing a Mexico side in front of their own crowd in what was a rollercoaster of emotions. England took the lead late in the first half through Jude Bellingham, who also added a second minutes later. However, Mexico replied from a corner kick converted by Julian Quinones on the brink of half time.

The second half got worse for the three lions as right back Jarell Quansah was given marching orders by Australian referee Alireza Faghani. However, ten men England won a penalty not long after which was converted by captain Harry Kane. Mexico then had a penalty themselves in which Raul Jimenez converted, however it was not enough to complete the turnaround and it is England who advance to face Norway in the Quarter Final on Saturday.

Bentley on the Wind Up

David Bentley was attending the game and capturing his experience last night, however he wouldn’t have believed that a clip would have gone viral.

After Jarell Quansah was dismissed, the Mexico fans were celebrating in the stadium as they would have been feeling confident of a comeback. However, these two Mexican fans in particular seemed to be quite wound up by Bentley and decided to gesture cutting his head off after the game in quite a dramatic fashion from a few rows in front of the former England international.

It was Bentley who got the last laugh though as Mexico were sent packing at the hands of the Three Lions and Wonderwall was sung around the stadium once more.
