Graphics for football clubs are important. People do not truly realise it, but it is how you find out information on your club's team.
So here at Football Park, we have done our best to rank every Premier League starting XI graphic.
The first thing to say about this graphic is that it is not number ordered. As you will see by several clubs on this list, instead of putting players in their positions on the graph (defender, midfielder, forward), they do it by their shirt number.
The graphic is clean, the subs are easy to read, and it shows which team is at home and the date. The date is clear.
The only thing I will take points off for is that they have not given the players numbers.

Let's do this, Gunners 👊
To start positively here, they have done the one thing Arsenal dropped points on: they have numbered their players, AND they are in the positional order. The whole left side looks clean; the cream colour is nice, but as you move to the right, it becomes a bit of a mess.
Matty Cash looks like he should be at a golf course, not a football pitch, and behind him is the lion that adorns the Villa badge, but he is hidden from sight by a weird black strip.
Subs can be seen well, and it is clear they are playing Burnley.
Minus points for the mess on the right and the gambling sponsor (I understand they have to, but this is my list, so I decide who gets points for what).

Bournemouth were so, so close to an all-timer graphic here. It is clean; I love the style of the box for every player—although this has been stolen and copied by many teams—and the background colours are engaging.
The one glaring issue?
Number. Order.
From this point on, any team doing this gets a minimum of two points deducted from them.
Other than that, I do not see any glaring issues. I do not feel you need to mention the opposing team twice, but other than that, it is solid.

At my first look at this, I wanted to hate it. But as I kept looking through, I found very little to fault it with.
Yes, it looks easy to make. I am not a graphic designer by any means, but give me a few hours to mess around on Photoshop or Canva, and I could make something pretty similar to this.
But that is the beauty of this graphic. It is so incredibly clean, but it shows every piece of information needed. The lineup is not only done in order, but the graphic also shows the formation, and the background is clean.
It still loses points, mainly for not being entirely clear that they are playing City, but this is very nice.

To make this clear, I am a big fan of the colour pink. Despite being a straight white male, I have a pair of pink jeans and a few pink/lavender t-shirts.
To start with, this is the same as Bournemouth. I like the boxes, but you ruined it with the number order (deduct 2). The letter ‘n’ in ‘Line Up’ has decided to go rogue and change font. It could have been done well, but it does not look great.
And to top it all off, there is a shade of pink covering the entire background.
What has pink got to do with Brighton? You tell me.
Bonus points for including a box for manager Fabian Hürzeler. Inclusion at its finest.

I can see what the graphic designer was going for here. You have Kyle Walker on the right staring into the distance and the lineup on the left.
Pretty simple, but if done well, it will always be good.
So what ruined it? Say it with me now, NUMBER ORDER.
Does Lyle Foster play as a defensive midfielder? No. So why is he positioned there on the graphic?
Just like Villa, they also have a gambling sponsor, meaning more points are deducted.

This is close to being elite. The background on this one is far and away the best we have seen so far. Gusto is facing you, and then a bigger one is looking away. “I am not what I am.” (My year 13 Shakespeare finally coming in handy).
The lineup is centred. Different, but fine. Minus points for not having numbers, but at least that means it is not number-ordered.
The only other negative is that the subs can be a strain to read. Sitting back in my chair, I can read them, but if someone 50+ were in the same position, they would be squinting their eyes.

At first glance, this looks clean, modern, and sleek.
In positional order, the background is good and the colours match.
But as you look more, it becomes harder to read the players' numbers due to the transparency, and the stadium name is too small. The whole left side needs to increase a few levels of font, and it would look very good.
Minus points for a gambling sponsor.

Look, I get Everton is a blue club. I know this.
But the only thing I am imagining when I am looking at this is the road to the knockout cards back from FIFA 20. It just looks strange.
The formation order is fairly easy to read, and the Pickford photo looks good.
Minus points for looking like a FIFA card and the gambling sponsor.

To start this off, Fulham get a bonus point for having Mongolia as a sponsor. In a world of tacky gambling sponsors, be Fulham.
There is nothing to write home about on this graphic. Clean, modern, sleek. But lacks excitement. Reminds me a lot of the actual Fulham fans.
Formation order and names are down the centre.

It pains me to say it, but this graphic is nice. Too nice.
Very clean, in formation order, and the colours match Leeds' white and yellow strip.
Clear to see who is playing where, and it has a modern touch about it.
Loses points for not having that oomph factor, and because of the gambling sponsor.

— Liverpool FC (@LFC) October 4, 2025
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe the Manchester City social team pioneered this graphic. The box lineup with every player is by far the best template to go with.
The only thing stopping this from being a 10 is a lack of background. It is extremely clean and nearly perfect, but if they were to have a background of, let's say, Phil Foden scoring a goal and had turned the transparency all the way down, it would have been the best of the best.

After the horror show that was the graphic on the first day of the season (which was genuinely shambolic), the social media team has gone back to the classic of showing the players in a diagonal order.
I think it looks nice, it is clean and looks fresh.
But the one glaring issue is IT IS NUMBER ORDERED.
What was so close to being a great score has pushed us down massively.

— Manchester United (@ManUtd) October 4, 2025
Despite the formation once again being in a number order, I am still a fan of this. The black and grey pattern on the left is clean and looks good. Understandable why they did not go for a black and white, as it would be too antithetical.
Anthony Gordon’s photo on the right looks good. Does not feel forced in.
Put this in order of formation, and you would have been looking at a very good score.

A mix of emotions on this one. It looks clean to the eye, but the colours are wrong.
We have a mix of red and black for the background, but Forest’s colours are red and white. For the XI and numbers, there is a brownish gold colour, which once again looks nice, but has no relation to Forest.
Add this to the fact that, again, it is number-ordered; Forest will not be getting a great score.
The Premier League logo is also wonky? Looks strange and jarring.

Once again, a fairly strong graphic but just lacking that oomph factor that some of the better-ranked teams have had.
The third time we are seeing the names go entirely down the middle, and it looks good.
Order in formation, but gets minus points for the gambling sponsor.

I am a fan of the dark background contrasting the white player names on this. Makes it easy to read, and you can see what you are getting.
The big problem, once again, with this is the ordering of the players.
Is it really that hard just to put them in the order of the formation? It makes it so much easier to read and looks better.

For the penultimate entry into this list, we have West Ham United.
They faced Arsenal at the weekend, and just like their opposition's graphic, it is really, really clean.
Good colour scheme, players in the correct order, and the transparent XI behind the words starting is the icing on the cake.
The only thing stopping this from being any higher is that it lacks a little bit of the oomph. If you had the background of Chelsea’s graphic, this would be the highest rated on the list.

Just like the Premier League table, Wolves are the last club to be rated in this list.
And it is a really good graphic. Clean, shiny, nice.
The only thing stopping this from being a 9 rating is that there is a gambling sponsor, and the two sides of the graphic look too separate from each other. You need a link between them; it is too blocky.
