Welcome to Week 3 of the 2025/26 Premier League, where the form charts are still being written and the International Break looms like a tense cliff-hanger—think Game of Thrones but with more stats and less fire-breathing dragons (hopefully).
Here is what we have gathered after two weeks of Premier League action. The key stats managers care about, the hottest players on the market, and team changes that can swing your team all the way to the top!
Team News: Chelsea are riding high off a fantastic 5-1 win against West Ham, where they embarrassed their former boss, Graham Potter. Joao Pedro currently sits in the top 10 of most FPL points earned so far with 17.
Fulham, on the other hand, are a tricky one. They have relied on two late goals from substitutes to earn them a draw against Brighton and Manchester United.
Stats Chelsea are sharp up top. Like a knife through butter. But they still have their off days. They were unable to break down Crystal Palace, and Fulham will be tricky as well.
FPL Take Joao Pedro is a safe pick. Palmer may not be match fit, so it may be an idea to take him out of the squad.

Team News United have had a shocking start. One point from two games, and that is without getting into their shock horror defeat against fourth-tier Grimsby in the League Cup. They have managed just one goal in the league, which was not even scored by any of their players.
Burnley have started well. They lost thor first match 3-0 to Spurs, but beat fellow promoted side Sunderland 2-0.
Stats Manchester United have lost just one home game to Burnley in the last 6 years. Burnley tend to nab a goal, but United’s strikeforce tends to overpower.
FPL Take Taking a United defender is risky, but it could be a vital differential that pushes you up your leagues. Bruno, despite his poor form, is a safe pick.
Three Premier League sides move through to the EFL Cup third round - but there’s a huge shock as Man Utd go out:

Team News Spurs have improved on their horrific form from last season with two wins in two games. This includes a fantastic 2-0 win against Manchester City.
Bournemouth have had a harder start. They sit on three points after a 1-0 win against Wolves and a 4-2 loss against Liverpool.
Stats Spurs have scored five goals in two matches this season. With Thomas Frank at the helm, expect goals. Antoine Semenyo currently has the third most amount of FPL points.
FPL Take Both sides will be looking for an early goal to settle the game. Focus on wing-backs like Pedro Porro if you want defenders. Richarlson is yet to blank this season and could be a good pick.

Team News Nottingham Forest have kept their form from last season as they picked up four points over two games. They had a strong 3-1 win against Brentford before drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace.
West Ham have been awful. Eight goals were scored in their first two games.
Stats Expect goals. Expect lots of goals.
FPL Take Look towards Forest attackers. Chris Wood will always be a good choice, but that is what most FPL players will think. Look at the differentials you can use.

Team News This is the big fixture of the week. A potential title decider already.
Both sides sit on six points, but have been shaky in their matches. Arsenal looked poor against an improved United side—an improved United side that has already slipped back into old habits—while Liverpool needed a 100th-minute winner to see off an injury-ravaged Newcastle.
Stats Calafiori and Timber sit first and second for most FPL points so far. Together they have 50 points. Ekitike misses out on the bronze medal as he currently sits 4th.
FPL Take With a clash like this, it is nearly impossible to pick a player to be in your side. Roll with a differential, or stay on the Mohammed Salah train.

Sunderland vs Brentford: Could be an interesting one. If Sunderland do not bounce back from their 2-0 loss, we could see lots of goals.
Wolves vs Everton: Wolves are yet to score a goal so far. They come up against a weaker defence tomorrow. Strand-Larssen will be chosen by many, but is not a bad option.
Leeds vs Newcastle: A leaky defence vs an angry team. What could go wrong? Be careful, though, Newcastle is injury-ridden, and Leeds could pounce on the chance to take a point or three.
Brighton vs Man City: Another hard fixture to predict. Both sides play good football, but look weak at times. Lots of differential picks here, but they are all risky.
Aston Villa vs Palace: Aston Villa and Crystal Palace both desperately need to get the ball rolling. Neither side has yet to get a win. Ollie Watkins could be a good option.
Captain Picks: Bruno Fernandes, Chris Wood or Ollie Watkins
Differential Picks: Patrick Dorgu, Papa Sarr or Dan Ndoye
Safe Picks: Chris Wood, Bruno Fernandes, Van De Ven
