The Premier League is Back ... So of Course We Have to Go and Get It Completely Wrong Again!
The best league in the world is back. Numerous extortionate transfer fees, rivals fans looking for any excuse to slander one another online, epic drama and unbeatable controversy - we wouldn't have it any other way. Predictably unpredictable every single year without failure, there is nothing quite like the English top flight.
The countless attempts to predict such a wild, turbulent competition are everywhere these days - every analyst, X account and outlet all claim to have a unique algorithm-breaking insight, a reliable track record, a trustworthy gut, and everything in between, simply in a desperately unlikely bid to be right.
So of course we had to jump on the bandwagon and submit our own hilariously improbable predictions for the 2026/27 campaign. Don't misinterpret us here, we know we will be proved wrong. Fulham to go down is a brave shout, while even placing Chelsea is something of a fools errand these days.

But that's the beauty of predicting 20 teams instead of one. Even if 19 of them prove you wrong beyond reasonable doubt, there is always that one last call up your sleeve which can rescue, or even cultivate, a reputation. It is perhaps one of football's most unrewarding traditions, but my god is it fun.
