As we all know by now, Harry Kane is having one of, if not the, best season of his career so far, and he ruthlessly maintained that form this weekend.
He faced 6th-place Stuttgart today and while he didn’t start, he very much had an impact.
The game started quietly, with the current Bundesliga leaders only managing to open a 1-0 lead by the hour mark; however, that changed when in the 60th minute Nicolas Jackson came off the pitch and Harry Kane took his place.
It took just 6 minutes for the 32-year-old to open his tally this game with a superb effort from outside the box that found the bottom left-hand corner - and this was just the start, as once again in the 82nd minute he would find himself with a chance to make it 4-0 and get his second of the day from the penalty spot; like he has done for years, he converted.
He sent the keeper the wrong way before smashing the ball into the top left corner of the goal. Then in the 88th minute, he found his 3rd goal, linking up with Olise who played a nice ball to him, and he had the chance to score on a silver platter.

This hat-trick extends an incredible stat, as he has now bagged 11 hat-tricks in just 77 matches in the Bundesliga. Meaning he averages a hat-trick every 3 games, a level of goalscoring ability that is almost unheard of.
With how good Harry Kane has been this year, having already scored 31 goals in just 27 games in all competitions, Bayern could be in line for yet another season to remember - with Kane in the form he is in, they have the chance to win everything.
While they did struggle against Arsenal in the Champions League, they are still considered one of the favourites to win the competition. Adding onto this the fact they are undefeated in the Bundesliga and 11 points clear of second, with the fact they are favourites to win the domestic trophies, they could be in line for a season of massive success like in 2020.
With 2026 being a World Cup year and with both Kane and Bayern peaking at the right time, the Englishman's form could become something much bigger than just a successful season with Bayern; if he carries this form on into the World Cup and wins with England, he could see something else in his hands next year.
Based on his current form and success, it isn’t unfair to say that Harry Kane is one of the frontrunners for the Ballon d’Or. While there are other players who are having incredible seasons, no one and no team is currently matching what Harry Kane and Bayern are doing - it wouldn’t be out of the question for England’s captain to be the winner of the most famous individual award.
