How much are Premier League Tickets?

The Premier League is now a global brand, full of fans in every corner of the globe, with an estimated 3.16 billion viewers across the 2019/20 season.

With this increased support, fans from both the UK and overseas are now willing to pay huge sums for the matchday experience that watching from an armchair simply doesn't give you.

Therefore, it's no surprise that the price of the average Premier League ticket has seen a sharp increase in recent years despite concerns from many supporters' societies.

Just how much are tickets now going for at every Premier League club this season?

AFC Bournemouth

Perhaps unsurprisingly given their tiny capacity of 11,307, of which 1300 are allocated for away support, a Cherries membership is required for purchasing official tickets from their site.

The lowest price for an adult ticket per 'Category A' match - which is for most league matches - costs £42, with the most expensive being £59 and is situated above the halfway line.

Bournemouth have discounted tickets available for both concessions and juniors.

A junior ticket under Category A is only £11 in every part of the ground bar two, being the halfway line area and East Centre which are £7 more expensive.

Concessions range from £34 to £47.

Arsenal

Now we move over to Arsenal, where tickets are costing roughly double what they do at the Vitality.

If you are lucky enough to make your way through the balloting process with your official membership, be prepared to fork out at least £78 in a Category A match for an adult ticket.

A junior ticket costs almost the same as an adult Cherries ticket, at £39 for a position behind the goal or out wide or £72 for one near the halfway line.

Aston Villa

With European qualification comes more expensive days out to the football, as Villa fans have found out over the last couple of seasons.

On top of needing a £50 membership, tickets will set you back between £67.50 to £78, unless you sit all the way back in zone four which costs £55.

To be fair to the Villains, they run many ticket options that can give fans discounts, such as over-66/under-21, armed forces, under-18 and under-14.

An under-18 ticket goes to as low as £28 and up to £78, whilst over-66s will pay again from £78 to £41.50 in zone four.

Villa Park have special 1888 seats, which offer prime sideline views, are next to the halfway line and are fully padded - these cost £92 per match across all ticket options.

Brentford

The Bees are certainly one of the more cost-friendly Premier League clubs, having frozen their season ticket prices ahead of the 2025/26 season plus added 12-month direct debit payment options.

Also, they have Category A* matches especially for high-stake games such as those against Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Category A is then for other London clubs and top-half teams, whilst Category B is for bottom-half clubs and newly promoted sides.

An adult ticket ranges from £30 to £65, whilst Young Adult tickets (18-24) plus over-65s being £10 off adult prices.

Under-18 junior tickets are available for just £10-£15.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton tickets do go to members-only sale first, however on ocassions they don't sell out completely and as such go to a general sale for anyone to buy.

An adult ticket ranges from £49 to £68 for a Category A match depending on where you sit, whilst over-65s, under-21s and under-18s are given discounts.

Over-65s and under-21s are given the same money off which averages £10 less than an adult ticket, whilst under-18s can go for as little as £28.

Burnley

The Clarets' ticket exchange is accessible for even non-members, meaning you can buy tickets from the original members-only sale that are relisted without paying a subscription cost.

Adult tickets cost on average £47, under-21s and over-65s can go for £37 and under-18 tickets are down at £15.

Chelsea

Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge are split into Category AA, for top-six clashes and London derbies, with the rest being Category A.

As well as this, you will need either a True Blue membership (£60) that gives you early access to ticket sales, or a CFC Blue membership (£45) that means you can buy tickets not sold in the original sale.

An adult ticket goes for between £52 in the family section to £78 in the West stand, whilst restricted view tickets are sold for just £27.

In Category AA matches, under-20s can buy tickets from either £26 or £39 and are limited to just two areas of the ground, whilst under-23s can sit in the main season ticket zone for £49.50.

Around £10-£15 is taken off each adult ticket during Category A sales.

Everton

The Toffees may be moving into a new 52,769 seater stadium which will see attendances rising, however the cost of ticket prices are also going to be moving North.

The East and West stands will cost adults £75 per Category A fixture, and £70 plus £65 for Category B and C respectively.

These prices are reduced by £10 in the Riverside for members and then £5 for all other areas.

Other areas of the ground charge £45 or £52 for adults and then £31, £34 or £45 for over-65s.

Ticket Touting

All 20 Premier League clubs have taken steps to tackle the rising issue of ticket touting, including many introducing digital ticketing this season.

On some of the mobile apps, attempts to screenshot the QR code and send it to someone else are blocked, meaning it is much harder to now share your ticket after selling it on a third-party app.

Websites such as StubHub, Fanpass and Livefootballtickets sell re-sale tickets at higher prices compared to face value due to the demand.

However, these aren't regulated and comes with the risks of being scammed and sold a fake ticket.
