How To Watch The Club World Cup 2025: TV Channels, Streaming & Schedule

For league football, the 2024/25 club season has now ended. That means two things. Players have jetted off for their holidays, and it is almost time for the FIFA Club World Cup.

A newly altered tournament, the competition will be taking place this summer, with 32 teams being divided into eight groups of four teams with the two top teams in each group qualifying for the knockout stages. The format will be the same as used in the FIFA World Cup, without a third-placed play-off.

The global event brings together the most successful clubs from the AFC, CAF, Concacaf, CONMEBOL, OFC, and UEFA, with Manchester City and Chelsea representing England and Real Madrid also involved in the competition.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to make his debut for Real Madrid while Rodri is expected to return for Manchester City – the Club World Cup is bound to provide fireworks.

Below is all that you need to know about the competition, including where to watch it, kick-off times, and the schedule.

Where To Watch The Tournament

A newly improved tournament, being hosted under the bright lights of America, there are several different platforms to watch the Club World Cup.

Firstly, viewers across the world will be able to watch all 63 World Cup matches DAZN this summer. Despite being a subscription-based platform, viewers will be required to sign up to the website but will not have to make a purchase, with the website streaming the games on live stream.

On the other hand, in the UK, viewers will be able to watch the tournament by tuning into Channel 5. On Freeview, it’s 5 for standard definition and 105 for HD – throughout the competition, 5 will be showing 23 games.

Kick-Off Times For The Group Stage

With the fixtures taking place in North America, kick-off times in the UK vary. Within the group stage, matches occur each day, taking place between 5pm BST and 2am BST.

Initially, the tournament begins on Sunday, 15 June, with Al Ahly and Inter Milan facing off at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami – the match kicking off at 1am in the UK. Bayern Munich vs Auckland City (5pm), PSG vs Athletico Madrid (8pm), and Palmeiras vs Porto (11pm), follow on the competition’s opening day.

Elsewhere, Chelsea begin their Club World Cup journey on Monday, June 16, facing Los Angeles FC at 8pm BST, before travelling to the Lincoln Financial Field to face Flamengo on Friday, 20 June, at 7pm, and finally, playing against Esperance de Tunis at 2am BST on June 25.

Their British rivals, Manchester City, lock horns with Wydad AC at 5pm BST on June 15 as Rodri looks to make his way back into the squad. Al Ain are the next opponents for Pep Guardiola’s squad, with the Citizens in action at 2am BST on June 23 before their final group fixture against Juventus on June 26 at 8pm BST.

Other than supporting their teams, there are also several other games that fans across the UK need to look out for – Real Madrid compete with Al Hilal on Wednesday, June 18, at 8pm while Inter Miami face Porto on Thursday, June 19, at 8pm and Benfica meet Bayern Munich on Tuesday, June 24, at 8pm.
