Kylian Mbappé overtakes Champions League LEGEND scoring record
Kylian Mbappé two goals against Barcelona on Tuesday has bumped the Frenchman even higher up the all-time Champions League top scorers list.
The 25-year-old now has 48 goals in the competition, but who has he just overtaken?
Here are the top UEFA Champions League goal-scorers of all time:
20. Erling Haaland
41 goals scored for FC Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.
18. Del Piero and Neymar
Both of these legends have scored 43 UCl goals. Neymar scored in the competition for Barcelona and PSG. Del Piero only for Juventus.
17. Didier Drogba
Drogba was a Champions League legend no doubt. Winning the compeition in 2012 with Chelsea. He scored goals in the tournament for Marseille, Chelsea and Galatasaray.
15. Sergio Agüero and Eusébio
Aguero scored for Atletico Madrid and Manchester City in the UCL, but never won it. Boht of these players scored 47 times. Eusebio only ever scored for Benfica.
13. Mohammed Salah and Kylian Mbappé
So here its is, Mbappe now has the 13th highest amount of Champions League goals in the competitions history. He's now level with Liverpool's Salah, on 48 successful strikes. Mbappe has scored for Monaco and PSG, whilst Salah for Basel, Roma and Liverpool.
11. Alfredo Di Stéfano and Zlatan Ibrahimović
Both of these legends ended their careers with 49 Champions League goals. De Stefano won the competition on five occassions, only ever scoring for Real Madrid. Whilst Ibrahimovic never won the UCL, but scored for Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG and Manchester United.
10. Filippo Inzaghi
Inzaghi scored 50 goals for Juventus and AC Milan.
9. Thierry Henry
Henry scored 51 Champions League goals, for Monaco, Arsenal and Barcelona.
8. Thomas Müller
Müller has only ever played for Bayern Munich, and so has therefore scored all of his 54 goals there.
7. Andriy Shevchenko
Shevchenko scored 59 goals for Dynamo Kyiv, AC Milan and Chelsea.
6. Ruud van Nistelrooy
The Dutch striker scored 60 goals for PSV, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
5. Raúl González Blanco
Raúl scored most of his 71 Champions League goals for Real Madrid, but also a few for Schalke.
4. Benzema
The Frenchman has 90 UCL goals to his name, for Lyon and Real Madrid.
3. Robert Lewandowski
The Polish striker has scored 94 goals in the competition so far. He's scored for Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
2. Lionel Messi
One of the all-time greats has 129 Champions League goals, for Barcelona and PSG.
1. Cristiano Ronaldo
On top of the list is Ronaldo with 141 goals. He scored for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
