Newcastle in Pursuit of Ballon d'Or Winner - Imagine Reading That in 2020!
It’s been a difficult summer for Newcastle. First, they lost Anthony Gordon, followed by their two world-class midfielders. While they did make some good signings towards the back end of the window, there are still holes. One in particular is the striker position.
As we’ve already said, Gordon has left. However, he wasn’t the only man who left Newcastle. The other man who departed this summer has left behind a massive hole. Literally, he’s 6 foot 7, as Woltemade joined Juventus.
While the window has now shut, there could still be a new player joining. This man is a French forward. He is someone who has won the Ballon d’Or. One of the best strikers of a generation. He is Benzema. Yep, the 38-year-old could be heading to England.
Newcastle have been informed that Karim Benzema 🇫🇷 is willing to leave Saudi club Al-Ittihad after six underwhelming months at the club, The Mapgies are seriously considering signing him now.🚨🚨

He is a free agent after leaving Saudi Arabia, and Newcastle could be looking to take a gamble on the forward. Imagine that a few years ago: Newcastle looking to sign Benzema. The best striker in the world.
When Newcastle were bought, we expected these types of transfers. However, we expected the Ballon d’Or winner to be in his prime, not at the end of his career.
