Premier League Golden Boot x Player of the Season Odds 2026/27

The Premier League is almost back, and that means predictions. While people are predicting who will win the league and who will be relegated, we have skipped that and gone to who will win the Golden Boot and Player of the Season. So, the question is, who do the bookies back?

Golden Boot Winner

3. Igor Thiago – 12/1

We start with a man who had a shock season last season. He managed to bag 22 goals last season with Brentford, and that has meant that his odds are high. The main question is, will he carry on his form?

Well, as many know, his World Cup wasn’t the most amazing in the world, and this could knock his form and confidence. The second question is, can Brentford have a season like last season again? It is unlikely.

However, as it stands, he is 3rd.

2. Alexander Isak – 9/1

Second is a man who is one of the best strikers in the league when fit. Isak had a season he will hope to forget last season. He spent most of the season injured and only scored three goals. He will surely do better this season.

For two straight seasons, he scored enough league goals to get him into the top three. That was for Newcastle, who are good, but aren’t Liverpool. With Liverpool, he will be hoping for his best season yet.

If he stays fit, he might be able to keep up with number one.

1. Erling Haaland – 4/6

The obvious front-runner. He is a machine and proved it again at the World Cup. He has spent four seasons in the Premier League and won three Golden Boots. He is a freak of nature and will be looking to make it four out of five this season.

However, he might have an issue. It’s no longer Pep in the dugout. Maresca hasn’t had a striker like Haaland before, so will he be able to get the best out of him? Well, more than likely, yes, as all he needs is the ball in the box, and he scores.

So, without a shadow of a doubt, the number one.

Player of the Year

3. Declan Rice – 8/1

We start with the main man for Arsenal last season. Rice is the heartbeat of Arteta’s side and will be pivotal if they go back-to-back. The interesting thing is that he is tied with City’s midfielder Rodri. However, as it looks like he will be leaving, Rice takes that 3rd spot.

Rice will be looking to get even better this season, and while that is almost impossible, it’s something he can do. He can become the best midfielder in the league and one of, if not the best, in the world after this season.

Rice starts the top three.

2. Bruno Fernandes – 6/1

The man stopping Rice from becoming the best midfielder in the league. Bruno is the current holder of this award and won’t be letting go easily. After a historic campaign last season, he will want to keep going and driving the Red Devils forward.

His main issues will come from the increased workload. With Europe this season, United will have two games a week until January at a minimum. This could lead to injuries or rest during less important games. This will reduce his possible output and effect on the season.

Bruno holds 2nd, but who beats him?

1. Erling Haaland – 11/2

He tops yet another list. Haaland is the easy choice, but that is because he is one of the last true world-class players. City will be a threat this season under a new identity, and this could mean Haaland is a new type of threat.

Likely winning the Golden Boot, Haaland will have that behind him in order to win this award. All he needs is to help City to a good finish, and this would be all but his award. It’s as simple as that for him.

Haaland yet again takes number one.
