Ranking All 20 Premier League Clubs on how Boring They Are
The Premier League is back later this month. That means that the Premier League rankings will be happening soon. Today we won’t be ranking by how teams perform on the pitch, instead it’s by their fans. So, who are the most boring fans in the Premier League?
20. Manchester City
It’s often said that they bought their success, and while some of that is true, it isn’t 100% facts. They did have success before the new owners took over. However, a lot of it is new success. That has caused a lot of their fan base to be younger fans, or people who aren’t as invested in football. This obviously damages the fans and how exciting they are. Let’s just say, there’s a reason it’s called the Emptyhad.
19. Fulham
You’re a mid-table club who has spent a vast amount of money on a new stadium. The least you could hope for is your fans to show some level of atmosphere. Well, Fulham have yet to see that. Craven Cottage has one of the most boring atmosphere’s and therefore, they are going down.
18. Bournemouth
The fans are loyal. However, they aren’t large. While having a large fan-base does damage some teams, Bournemouth with the limited fan base does also get damaged. Little fans equal little noise and limited excitement.
17. Brentford
A side with a good support, however, like Bournemouth the fan base size limits them and that’s why they are placed just 1 place above Bournemouth on this list.
16. Brighton
Brighton a few years ago would’ve been lower for the same reason as the last 2 clubs. However, recently they have grown and increased the size of their fans. This means that they have climbed the table and have shown an increase in the excitement their fans make.
15. Chelsea
Chelsea could be in the top 3 or bottom 3. It depends on the game. In a big game they are excellent, however, a smaller more causal game they are dull. The gate smacking alone puts them up several places. However, it can’t carry the level of shit they are when it’s not going well.

Nothing in football sounds more satisfying than that iron gate clanging after a Chelsea goal
A THREAD of pure Stamford Bridge ASMR.

14. Arsenal
Just beating their city rivals, Arsenal takes 14th place. While they have been considerably better recently, they still have years of awful showing. When times were tough, they were possibly the most boring club. However, as success has come back so has their fans voices, along with their stupid takes. They take 14th.
13. Hull City
Hull is one of the teams limited by their stadium. They have a strong fan base and could be much higher. However, as it stands, the 25,000 seats limit how exciting they can be. Although being back in the Prem they could jump a lot of places.
12. Crystal Palace
Palace have one of the best single sections in the Premier League for exciting fans. However, when you leave that section it’s very boring. This means that combing them levels them out to average in this list hence the 12th place.
11. Aston Villa
Villa is one of the teams that you can’t really knock. They have great home support and away support and that’s only gotten better with recent success. However, they still sit in the bottom half as a result of the other sides just having that extra factor.
10. Ipswich Town
They are back again. We saw last time they were in the Prem how good their fans were. This wouldn’t have changed and could’ve only gotten better. This time the fans will be hoping for survival and will be more excited than ever.
9. Nottingham Forest
These fans are amazing, and they make the stadium work for them. They support their side through the best times and the worst. It feels harsh having them this low down. They could be several places higher easily.
8. Coventry City
These fans have been through every level of emotion and never lost their voices. They are always there and always loud. They make sure the game is exciting and every moment means something. This will only be better this season finally back in the topflight.
7. Tottenham Hotspur
Like their London rivals Spurs also spent a lot of a new stadium. However, unlike them their fans have made it count. They make every game feel important. A few years ago, they would’ve been higher. However, after the last 2 seasons they can’t be higher. Especially when several time’s they had 1 man left in the stadium.
6. Manchester United
After a poor season United have found their voice again. It came back like it was never gone. They are loud and passionate. They make sure their players know how much this game means and how much they need to show what playing for the badge means to them. One of the best.
5. Liverpool
A few years ago, they would’ve been the undisputed winners. However, they have slipped a bit and even been caught piping crowed noise into the stadium. Or so we have been told. With all of this they have slipped down the list especially since Klopp left.
4. Leeds United
Passionate and loud. They make every game feel like a final. Some of the best fans in the country and they make sure everyone knows it. They are truly one of the most exciting fan bases in the league.
3. Newcastle United
They are amazing fans. Ture passion has no better example than Newcastle and a few years ago like Liverpool they would be in the top 2. However, they have now seen some tough times and have stuttered a bit. Their biggest fear is like their players; the fans get bought and leave them.
2. Sunderland
Well, this is interesting, if you haven’t figured out the top 2 are the rivals of both the old top 2. Sunderland have once again bettered Newcastle. They did it in the league last season and because of that their fans showed how exciting they can make The Stadium of Light. They are one of the best.
1. Everton
New stadium same fans. Those fans didn’t need to change as they were already one of the best in the country. Now they can have more of them inside the stadium the games are somehow even more exciting. I didn’t think it was possible, but the fans made it possible. That is why they are number 1.
