Everyone enjoyed having a summer so far action packed by the concluding major international tournaments, UEFA EURO 2024 and Copa America.

He missed out on making the France team for the UEFA EURO 2024, which was fully stacked in attack with Kylian Mbappé.

This is a great opportunity to make a name for himself especially playing on home soil.

Julio Enciso – Paraguay

Brighton’s recruitment has a great track record for finding top talents in South America region.

Enciso is one of those successful discoveries, had a memorable breakout season in the 2022/2023 Premier League.

The attacking midfielder scored four goals including two screamers against Chelsea and Manchester City worthy of a Puskas Award.

20-year-old will be eager to please his Paraguay fans who have a lot of admiration for him.

Aitana Bonmatí – Spain

The current Ballon D’or had a remarkable season for club and country.

She is an architect in the FC Barcelona midfield, won multiple individual awards such as Women's Champions League Player of the Season and The Best FIFA Women's Player.

She contributed six goals and six assists in the Champions League.

26-year-old finished the season winning a historic quadruple.

Spain will be one of the favourites along with United States of America.

Winning a gold medal will cap off another successful season for country after she helped them win the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup where she also was player of the tournament.

Sophia Smith – United States of America

23-year-old winger had a strong season for Portland Thorns in National Women's Soccer League based in America and she scored 10 goals and provided four assists.

She impressed in last year's FIFA Women's World Cup although her team got knocked out in the group stages.

Smith’s performances gave evidence of exciting young generation.

Her hopes of getting a gold medal are boosted coached by former Chelsea Manager Emma Hayes.

USA have won the most medals at the Olympics football winning eight medals including four golds.

Marta – Brazil

The legend of the women’s game will bow out at end of this tournament.

After announcing her retirement there is one thing that alludes her long list of trophies collectively and individually which is winning gold medal.

One record she can achieve is becoming the highest goal scorer in Olympics.

38-year-old scored 13 currently second behind her Brazilian compatriot Cristiane who has 14.

Will she finally win gold in her last dance?
