Spurs fans are about to EMBARRASS their club
Tottenham Hotspur are currently 5th in the Premier League and are in the hunt for a place in the Champions League next season.
They have lost their last 4 Premier League games in a row, conceding 13 and scoring four in the process.
With three games left of their season it is vital for Ange Postecoglu’s side to start picking up points, otherwise Aston Villa will claim that fourth English spot in next season’s Champions League.
However, Spurs fans don’t entirely want a change in form.
Tottenham’s face off against Manchester City at home next Tuesday and a loss would confirm Tottenham finishing outside the top four. Any result besides a loss for Tottenham would give Arsenal an advantage in the title race with just a week to go.
Here’s what some Spurs fans have said when considering the dilemma of qualifying for Champions League football but letting Arsenal win the League:
I really couldn’t care if Tottenham lost all our remaining games.

As long as we lose to Man City
Why is there even a debate on this lol https://t.co/Jq1sTwm5Rt pic.twitter.com/nV9Hrn4OCi

Tottenham fans care more about losing to stop Arsenal then about their own team winning to push for a more successful season.
I wonder what the atmosphere will be like on Tuesday night.
If Spurs beat Burnley on Saturday and Aston Villa drop points on Monday against Liverpool, Tottenham’s chances of Champions League Football will still be alive for their match against Man City.
But how will the Spurs fans treat the match? Will we see a team for the first time cheering for their opposition? This moment will be an existential crisis for Tottenham fans as they finally have to confront whether they are Tottenham supporters, or Arsenal haters.
Tottenham may be on a poor run of form but that hasn’t stopped them beating City in the past as Man City are still yet to even score at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League since it was opened.
I look forward to the match as a lot is on the line regarding the title race and the race for Europe but I mostly look forward to the Football world’s reaction to Spurs’ atmosphere on the night.
If they are to get a result they may not even cheer for their side and on the flip-side, there’s a chance that they actively celebrate Manchester City goals against their own club.
Let’s wait and see what will unfold on Tuesday 14th May. It’s going to be unprecedented.
