The Premier League is back and already we have seen some shocks. However, one thing has remained from last season. That one thing, it’s Spurs being shit. We are 2 games in and already they are rock bottom of the league with 0 points and 0 goals. So, how have they spent all that money and somehow gotten worse?

Spurs have already dropped over £300 million this window, and it seems like nothing has changed in the slightest. They have bought in a new defence, new midfield and a new attack. Everything is brand new, but one thing has remained. The fact they can’t perform on the pitch.

Spurs might have fallen into the oldest trap in the book. You see as Chelsea and Liverpool will tell you, money doesn’t fix problems. Or well it does, but not if it’s spent wrong. Spurs have spent too much and bought in too many new players to recently. No of them have any type of chemistry or understanding.

Not having chemistry in football is a death sentence. Players will be making more mistakes than ever before, just because they don’t know what their teammates want or like. This is what Spur’s problem is. They have 11 players, not a team.

So, until that team actually is formed, they will keep losing as individuals won’t be able to bring success no matter how good they are.

Even if they do build a team, the gene might be too strong and Spurs will always be shit.
