Unbeaten in 3, Second in the League - Is Liam Rosenior Actually a GOOD Manager?

He’s a young manager, taught by Wayne Rooney. He uses LEGO in training, and of course, he’s a man-ager. He also might actually be a good manager…? Liam Rosenior has got everyone questioning whether they were too harsh on him in England.

Rosenior started his managerial career in the Championship. He had a few good seasons there before leaving Hull to join Strasbourg in Ligue 1. He spent a year and a half there, averaging 1.7 points per game. He would then join Chelsea.

Let’s just say his time in England’s top flight is one to forget. It started off well; however, after some time, it all fell apart. It seemed like his form was the end of the Maresca system, and when his finally came in, it wasn’t close to being good enough. This ended with him being fired just four months into his reign.

However, going back to France, he is back in the headlines. Not because he’s doing awful again. No, it’s because he is absolutely thriving. Paris FC are currently second in Ligue 1, having not lost a game. They have also managed to score six goals while only conceding two. It looks as if Rosenior has found a system that works well and a league that allows him to play his best football.

So, maybe, maybe we were wrong. Maybe he is a top coach. Maybe it was Chelsea that was the issue. Could Rosenior actually make a comeback as a top-level manager? Only time will tell.
