What are the secrets to Barcelona’s goal scoring success?
It is no secret that Hansi Flick has created a phenomenal goal scoring front three who have run riot in the league as Barcelona sit on top of the table only separated by a point to Real Madrid.
With only eleven games left of the season, FC Barcelona have already found the back of the net more times in the league than their finishing goal tally for the 2022/23 and the 2021/2022 season and only four more goals away from equalling their tally for last season.
But how has he founded such a dangerous forward line, and which individuals have been instrumental to Barcelona’s success.
There was great promise showing from the Brazilian winger who made the transition from Leeds to Barcelona for the 2022/2023 season.
Coming off the back of a season in which he totalled 11 goals from 35 matches, he adapted to Spanish football decently as he found the back of the net seven times and grabbed seven assists.
However, this season he has revolutionised his goalscoring game and has already managed 13 goals from 27 matches in La Liga. He has also demonstrated this on the world stage, collecting more goals than games in the Champions League with 11 goals from ten matches played so far.

His combination of incisive runs and his heightened work ethic have transitioned Raphinha into a leader as his efforts both in front of goal and tracking back have positively influenced Barcelona’s dynamics in the dressing room and on the pitch.
Putting his name in contention for the Ballon d’Or, Raphinha currently sits on 27 goals and 21 assists across all competitions.
The Spanish youngster has captured the attention of world football with his exceptional performances for Barcelona, displaying such an incredible amount of maturity, skill and composure at such a young age.
At just the age of 17, Lamine Yamal has already won the La Liga on top of bringing silverware to his home country, being a pivotal member of the Euro winning side in 2024.
Yamal has honed his focus on consistently improving his ability down the flanks, displaying dazzling dribbling down the right-hand side. His fearlessness is a trait that is next to perfect and shows off the level of football intelligence he possesses. But for Hansi Flick, it has been his ability to find his forwards that has been crucial to Barcelona’s goal scoring success.

For the 2024/2025 season, Lamine Yamal has notched six goals and 11 assists in La Liga on top of five goal contributions in the Champions League. He currently ranks second on the CIES Football Observatory’s offensive performance rankings and continues to help lead Barcelona to success.
When you have one of the greatest strikers of the 21st century leading your front line, goals are going to be a given.
After eight tremendous seasons for Bayern Munich, picking up multiple league titles and a FIFA’s Best Player award, Lewandowski decided he needed a new challenge and Barcelona came calling.
Managing 30 goal conibutons from 34 league matches in his inaugural season, Lewandoski showed there was no let up in his game.
After securing the title last season, Lewandoski has a chance to go back-to-back but is also his chance to record his best league goal scoring season for Barca, with only one more league goal equalling his 23 goal first season.
Robert Lewandoski currently sits on 22 league goals from 26 appearances on top of nine goals from ten matches in the Champions League. His goalscoring season sees him currently leading the race for the league Golden Boot, with Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe two goals behind.

Amongst the key players above, Barcelona have an immense roster of talent, with the likes of Dani Olmo and Pedri holding down the midfield.
It is a close fought battle for the league trophy with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid hunting the Catalan side. Barcelona must ensure they continue their dominance.
Without a loss in their last 19 matches across all competitions, Barcelona should ensure the league trophy but still have an El Classico to focus for in May.
After breezing past Atletico Madrid, they turn their attention to their next match which sees them face off against Osasuna at the home. The bookies have Barcelona as heavy favourites to win.
With both the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League to consider, keep watching to see how Hansi Flick and his side can ensure success in all campaigns.
