Aberdeen are reportedly closing in on a loan deal for midfielder Lyall Cameron.
According to reports, Rangers are willing to let the midfielder leave to seek guaranteed first team football for the rest of the season.
Since Danny Rohl’s appointment Cameron hasn’t had the same opportunities he had under previous manager Russell Martin.
Reports in The Scottish Sun suggest that Aberdeen Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel is keen to add more Scottish involvement to the squad and values Cameron’s league experience.
Prior to joining Rangers in the Summer, Aberdeen had been keen to bring Cameron to Pittodrie. Since joining Rangers he has only made 10 appearances, scoring one goal in a Champions League clash against Viktoria Plzen.
