Aberdeen secure Deadline Day midfielder
Aberdeen have completed the loan signing of German midfielder Dennis Geiger who arrives on loan from Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim. The 27-year-old will spend the next five months in red, however Aberdeen do have an option to make the move a permanent one come the Summer.

Geiger has spent sixteen years at Hoffenheim having joined the club back in 2009. Geiger made his way through the youth teams before making his first team debut in a 1-0-win vs Werder Bremen in August of 2017. A few days later he made his Champions League debut in a 4-2 loss vs Liverpool at Anfield. The midfielder has made 147 appearances for Hoffenheim and scored six goals for the club.
This is Aberdeen’s sixth signing of the window following Lyall Cameron, Liam Morrison, Toyosi Olusanya, Per Kristian Bratveit and Afeez Aremu.
