Abu Kamara to Getafe Update as Hull City Manager States Player 'Wants to Go'

Abu Kamara's move to Getafe has been languishing over the past week with nothing officially confirmed, and some swirling rumours around Getafe's inability to register players.

But, Hull City's manager Sergej Jakirovic's recent comments have shed some light on the situation:

"I don't want to lost Abu Kamara, but this is the only solution, and Abu wants to go to Getafe. This is his wish."

Hull only signed Kamara in August of last year from Norwich City, but already look set to lose him to the Spanish outfit.

What Does This Mean For Hull

Kamara's Getafe move looks set to be an initial loan deal with a buy option of £3.5m.

The transfer will be crucial for the rest of the Tigers' transfer dealing during this window, as they currently have some looming FFP issues which are making it difficult for them to strengthen the squad.

There is an acceptance that in the current state, Hull City need to work on a one in- one out basis if they are to remain compliant.

And, with players they are still looking to bring in before the window slams shut, Kamara's exit is one they will be looking to conclude swiftly in the coming days.

Hadziametovic Deal Relies on Kamara Exit

As reported by us previously, Hadziametovic is a top target for Hull before the window closes and a deal appears to be waiting in the wings.

However, a deal for the Besiktas midfielder now looks to be reliant on the completion of Abu Kamara's transfer to Getafe.

If Kamara's transfer to Spain isn't rubber stamped, there is a growing concern that Hadziametovic, or any other incomings, may be unable to be finalised.
