Are Norwich the Real Deal? | Gab Sutton Predictions

EFL Predictions

EFL Championship, League One & League Two Predictions

EFL expert Gab Sutton is back working with Football Park, and once again he’s given us his best predictions for this weekend’s EFL fixtures.

Who’s he picked for sure, and who is he thinking about with outside odds?

Whether you’re building a naughty ACCA for the weekend, or just interested to see what a man who knows the EFL like the back of his hand is thinking, we’ve got his tips laid out here.

Championship Predictions

Middlesbrough to beat Bristol City - 7/10

Bristol City haven’t won in three games, and Michael Carrick’s Boro side will prove too tough to turn things around against.

Millwall to beat Derby County 97/100

Millwall haven’t lost the last three games they’ve played Derby, and Gab thinks that trend will continue. A win will see them draw level on points with the Rams.

Norwich City to beat Stoke City - 41/25

Norwich are really hitting stride, and the Canaries are taking to life well under “Hoff-Ball”, Stoke will be no match for them.

Championship Treble?

Combining all three selections from the Championship would earn you great 8/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return a huge £90 should it land.

League One Predictions

Rotherham to beat Wrexham - 117/100

Rotherham are unbeaten in four, and look to be finally turning their season around. Wrexham’s form is a bit all over the place, and we could see Rotherham win here.

Bolton Wanderers to beat Burton Albion - 7/20

Bolton unbeaten in four, Burton have lost their last four. It’s not looking good for the Brewers, and Bolton will cruise to victory.

Huddersfield Town to beat Bristol City - 52/100

Huddersfield turned their poor form around with a win before the international break, and Gab thinks that they’ll continue with their current momentum.

League One Treble

Combining all three selections from League One would earn you decent 3/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return £40 should it land.

League Two Predictions

Colchester to beat Cheltenham - 21/25

Cheltenham have been really poor in their last four games, and Gab just cannot fathom them getting a result against Colchester.

MK Dons to beat Morecambe - 22/25

MK Dons have arguably the best squad, and maybe now the best manager, in League Two. Morecambe look good odds for relegation despite a win in their last game.

Carlisle to beat Harrogate Town - 17/20

Gab’s backing Mike Williamson to get his first win as Carlisle boss. It’ll be tough but they might get this one done.

League Two Treble

Combining all three selections from League Two would earn you huge 5/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return a hefty £60 should it land.

Gab Sutton's Outside Shouts

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Burnley - 43/25

While the wheels aren’t coming off yet at Burnley, they don’t look as strong as they did earlier in the season. If Wednesday can shake things up, I’m not sure how Parker’s side will adapt.

Grimsby Town to beat Walsall - 19/10

Grimsby are in better form than Walsall in recent weeks, and the League Two table is still very much chopping and changing.
