Arsenal Look To Sign Keira Walsh From Barcelona

Charlotte Harpur, who Football Park rate as a tier two for reliability, has reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Keira Walsh from Barcelona this summer.

A Lioness regular, Walsh has become a key member of the Barcelona squad since signing from Manchester City in 2022 for a then record transfer fee.

She has helped guide the Catalan side to back to back Champions League titles becoming instrumental for both their treble winning campaign last year as well as their quadruple this year.

However, Walsh currently has a year left on her contract and with Arsenal’s midfield lacking in options - especially after the ACL injury of Victoria Pelova last season - the Gunners could look to make a shocking swoop for the 27 year old.

With her contract running low and Arsenal being in need of a new midfielder Walsh could be the perfect target for the WSL side.

Now it is expected that they will place a huge bid for her in the coming weeks.
