Arsenal Title Boost And West Ham's Relegation Worries Worsen - Premier League Round 35 Saturday Roundup: Highlights, Scores and Results

Another huge day in the Premier League and with the season coming to a close, every single result is starting to feel massive. Whether it is the title race, the push for Europe or the battle at the bottom, there is no room for slip ups anymore.

We saw dominant performances, early goals that completely changed games, and moments of madness that flipped matches on their head. Some sides are hitting form at the perfect time… others are starting to fall away when it matters most.

Football Park are here to bring you the roundup for all the action:

Brentford 3-0 West Ham United

This was as comfortable as it gets for Brentford. They set the tone early and never really let West Ham settle. The opener came in slightly fortunate fashion with Konstantinos Mavropanos putting it into his own net, but from there Brentford took full control of the game.

West Ham just never got going. They struggled to build any real rhythm and looked second best all over the pitch. Brentford were sharper, more aggressive and looked like they actually had something to play for.

The second goal killed it. Igor Thiago stepping up from the spot and putting it away with no issues. After that, it was just a case of when, not if, the third would come. Mikkel Damsgaard wrapped it up late on with a tidy finish.

Massive result for Brentford in terms of pushing themselves up the table and building momentum. For West Ham, this is a real concern. They need to be picking up points in every possible game, with Spurs close on their tail in the relegation battle.

Newcastle United 3-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Newcastle were excellent here, especially early on. They came flying out the blocks and Brighton just could not live with them. William Osula opened the scoring early and from there the momentum was all with the home side.

It got even better not long after. Dan Burn made it two and suddenly it was looking like a long afternoon for Brighton. Newcastle were winning every second ball and dominating physically.

Brighton did respond after the break. Jack Hinshelwood pulled one back and for a short period, it looked like they might get back into it. They had a bit more control and started to push Newcastle deeper.

But Newcastle handled it well and then finished the game late on through Harvey Barnes. That sealed it.

Huge three points for Newcastle in their push up the table. Brighton will be disappointed, especially with how poor they were in that first half. There were worries that Newcastle may be pulled into the relegation fight, but that's all but sorted now.

For Brighton, this is a big hit to their European hopes.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Sunderland

This game completely changed after the red card.

Sunderland actually started the better side and took the lead early through Nordi Mukiele. They looked organised, confident and in control of the game.

Then came the turning point. Daniel Ballard sent off after just 24 minutes, and from that moment it became a completely different game.

Wolves took over. They had all the ball, pushed Sunderland back and kept applying pressure. It felt like it was only a matter of time before they found the equaliser.

It eventually came through Santiago Bueno, and you felt Wolves might go on and win it from there.

But Sunderland held on. Fair play to them, they dug in and defended well with ten men.

Sunderland are now looking less likely to achieve their dream of qualifying for European football.

Arsenal 3-0 Fulham

Arsenal were in control from the first whistle here. They started fast and never let Fulham settle into the game. Viktor Gyökeres opened the scoring early and that set the tone straight away.

From there, Arsenal just dominated. The second goal came through Bukayo Saka and by that point, the game already felt done.

Gyokeres added his second just before half time and that completely killed it. Three goals, game over before the break.

Fulham offered very little going forward. They struggled to get out, struggled to create anything and just could not deal with Arsenal’s movement and intensity.

Second half was more controlled from Arsenal. They did not need to force anything, just managed the game and saw it out comfortably.

Massive result in the title race. Arsenal keep the pressure on and send a clear message, this is their league title. Fulham, on the other hand, just looked miles off it.
