Aston Villa Enter The Race For Amadou Onana

Everton midfielder, Amadou Onana, has been the talk of the Premier League transfer window thus far with his future being very much up in the air.

Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked with the Belgium International but now Times Sports, who Football Park rate as a tier two source for reliability, have revealed that Aston Villa have joined the race enquiring about the midfielder.

Villa, who qualified for the Champions League this past season, could be in need of a new midfielder with Douglas Luiz being linked with a move away.

According to Transfermarkt, Onana could cost around €50 million and as previously reported Villa will need to sell before they can buy this summer.

There is a reason Onana is wanted by so many clubs though, especially after a very good campaign this previous season. It may take a big push if the Birmingham based club wants to bring him in this summer.

None the less the enquiry shows their interest in the player and we could see a bid from them in the coming weeks.

With Arsenal and Man United set to rival them for his signature, it could be a very interesting summer ahead for Onana.
