Blackburn Rovers offered Kendry Paez On loan

EFL Championship side Blackburn Rovers have been offered the oportunity to sign Chelsea youngster Kendry Páez on a loan deal for the 26/27 season.

According to Alan Nixon via Patreon, the 19-year old Ecuador international has been offered to Rovers from the Stamford Brdige club, with Chelsea looking for another loan move for the versatile forward following his spell in Argentina with Buenos Aires giants River Plate.

Páez was signed by Chelsea from Independiente del Valle in Ecuador in 2025, before sending the teenager on loan to fellow BlueCo side Strasbourg where he scored once in 21 appearences, with a move to River Plate then following where just one more goal was scored in what could be considered another underwhelming loan move for the talented teenanger.

Páez has been of interest to multple clubs in the final stages of the window, with rumours that Scottish giants Celtic have also been consdiering a move for the 19-year-old, who is yet to make a first team appearence for Chelsea following his £18 million move to West London in 2025.

Capable of playing all across the forward line, Páez could be set for another loan move with chances in the first team at Stamford Bridge set to be limited once more. It remains to be seen whether Blackburn take the chance to loan the Ecuardioan, with the Ewood Park side enduring a mixed start to the new EFL Championship campagin, maybe Páez could offer an extra spark in attack to help Blackburn improve on last season's 20th place finish which saw Rovers narrowly escape relegation to the thrid tier.
