Boton are close to the completion of a deal for former Fulham and Swansea defender Cyrus Christie, as per Pete O'Rourke.
The Irishman, without a club since his release from Championship side Swansea, is poised to complete a move to Bolton as they continue to add to their squad this summer.
Christie, now 32, has an abundance of experience in the EFL, and will provide a versatile option for Bolton's back line. Enjoying spells at a whole host of clubs across England, Christie looks set to make the next step in his career with a move to League One and to an ambitious Bolton side.

Making just 12 appearances across all competitions for Swansea last season, Christie will be in search of regular game time this time out. With the likes of Josh Dacres-Cogley and Jordi Osei-Tutu already available at full-back for Bolton, the potential arrival for Christie will add both depth and competition for places for Steven Schumacher's team.
