He joined Brighton in 2017 and has developed into a key player for the club over the years, helping them to qualify for the Europa League for the first time.
Gross has also been called up for Germany’s Euro 2024 squad where he was subbed on in their opening match against Scotland.

While Gross is not yet a key player for the German team, he is one of Brighton's most valued players on and off the pitch.
Besides Dortmund, the other clubs interested in the midfielder include Eintracht Frankfurt, who are also in the Bundesliga.
While Dortmund looks like the more successful option, Frankfurt has developed their squad over the last few years and could therefore also offer Gross a successful future.
Nonetheless, Brighton are also adamant they can extend Gross’ contract.
