Brazilian Wonderkid Heads For The Hammers

An extremely reliable source has declared that a Brazilian youngster will have his medical with West Ham on Monday afternoon.

Florian Pletternberg, a Tier 1 ranked journalist by Football Park when it comes to reliability, has stated that West Ham will complete the transfer of the Palmeiras 18-year-old, Luis Guilherme in the coming days.

Guilherme is set to sign a contract until 2029 with the Hammers, who they plan to have as a prospect player. Meanwhile, the winger is regarded as one of the best youngsters coming out of Brazil.

Palmeiras are set to receive a fee of around £19.5 million and add ons.

The youngster would be the first West Ham signing for new manager Julen Lopetegui, who was appointed on 23rd May.

West Ham have remained defiant in this deal, despite interest from the Saudi Pro League which nearly put an end to the transfer.

The Hammers are looking to kick-off their new era with a major overhaul this summer, as they’re expected to sign anywhere between six and eight players. At the moment, Girona midfielder Aleix Garcia has been rumoured with a move, but German champions Bayer Leverkusen are also in the running.
